Hamburger steak was pink and literally fell apart. The Mac n cheese was sub-par. The saving grace was the squash casserole. I work right down from here and was excited to eat the hamburger steak and it's actually worse than a Stouffer's. Will never eat it again. Not to mention that the only "nice" person was the first lady making my food. Everybody else in there walks around with what seems to be an attitude. No smiling, no atmosphere.

The ordering process was professional and seamless. The delivery was right on time and the food was piping hot. Everything we ordered came in generous portions and was delicious. The star dishes were the Lima beans, the yams, and baked spaghetti. Worth every penny. Will definitely have them cater on our next visit to Alabama and highly recommend if you enjoy soul food made the correct way.

I absolutely love Zaties! I especially appreciate how the greens and cabbage are perfectly seasoned without being overwhelmed by meat. And the red velvet cake? It's truly outstanding.

This was my second food stop of the day. I live in Center Point, so I like to spend my $$ in my neighborhood as time permits. Admittedly, the plan was to get an apple fritter or two at Pop Donuts, but they are now closed on Mondays. Zatie's really impressed me by how clean the place was, the friendliness of the service and the way the employees reacted with each other in a very pleasant and helpful way. I got the dark meat chicken combo with yams and mac and cheese. I had to wait a minute or two for the mac and cheese to be refilled, but it was definitely a worthwhile wait as i found out once I got the food home and began to eat. The baked chicken was also really tasty. I'm assuming the yams were cooked with butter and brown sugar because they taste like the yams i grew up eating and that's how they were prepared. It did take me a couple of meals to finish everything, but I was definitely happy to have made the stop.

The minute you walk through the door, you're made to feel like family! Everyone is so friendly. The food is awesome! Everything was seasoned PERFECTLY. Best cornbread, chicken, sweet potatoes, greens, neckbones, and black-eyed peas EVER! My husband and I prayed before our meal and asked God to prosper and protect these sweet people. We will be back, Lord willing.? Only regret I have is that I was too full to try the red velvet cake!

I was very disappointed by this place. I had supported there, sent referrals and this last time they gave my order to the wrong person. My card was charged for 70.27 in which door dash attempted to have my items remade and redelivered. I was told by Door Dash they refused. As you all may know, my reviews are trustworthy and I would never bad mouth any establishment unless I was really dissatisfied. Take heed, service is horrible. Go to Nikki's West.

Just moved to Birmingham, we was looking fr a soul food spot. We found this spot tried them out, and we can't stop coming. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. The atmosphere makes you feel like you at your grandma house. Thank you for the excellent food and the memorable services.

Had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes & gravy, greens, and the squash casserole; absolutely divine! In a town that's blessed with a lot of great soul food places this one definitely stands out!
