We enjoyed a hot bowl of vegan posole and a veggie grain bowl today— the soup was complex and loaded with veggies, the grain bowl was a wonderful combination of ingredients. A great healthy and tasty addition to campus!

Found Zaida’s at Evergreen Farmer’s Market in SJ. We ordered chilaquiles and an empanada. We loved the food. The masa for the empanada is handmade and is delicious. Hope Zaida’s continues their presence at the Evergreen Farmer’s Market.

Zaida’s kitchen is a favorite that I recommend to friends all the time. I highly recommend their tostadas and anything with the house molé. The staff and owner are always friendly and their food makes my trips to the farmers market the highlight of my weekend. They also offer tables and seating which can be a huge help at busy markets.

My order was not made correctly. No receipt to check the order. Cashier wasn’t understanding the issue. 2 burritos at $45 and the order wasn’t right. Not worth it. It was a struggle to get sour cream on the side when that’s what I wanted and my burrito ended up being cold having to explain to them that I order sour cream.

I feel bad giving this review but want to share my experience from the Palo Alto farmer’s market. The mole was just ok, and the to-go container wasn’t closed well (a piece of chicken got caught between the lid and container) so it leaked over my stuff. The empanadas are also just ok - they also gave us the wrong protein on accident.

Dedicated gluten free dining at the Stanford campus! Great for those with celiac.

I always visit Zaida's food truck at the Palo Alto farmers market every time I am in the bay area because it is just that good. Her tostadas with slow braised pork is to DIE for. I've been to Oaxaca several times and haven't found real authentic Oaxacan food outside of Oaxaca that is as good as hers. Thank you, Zaida!!

Was excited to see some vegan options on the menu at the new Zaida's Kitchen at Stanford Tressider Food Court. Got the jackfruit empenada, with avocado & pickled onions and a side of rice. Really disappointed in what I ended up with. Basically nothing but a scoop of bland jackfruit on a tortilla folded over. If it hadn't been for adding Avocado & Onions it would have been barely edible, but that cost $3 extra ($1 for a tablespoon of pickled onions?). Realized too late that the $20 pricetag didn't include the side of rice I asked for (didn't make it onto the order), so all around disappointment on every level. Just threw most of it in the garbage. Won't be back.
