I recently had the pleasure of visiting Zach's Restaurant, and the experience was simply wonderful. We started with the house salad and soups, which were incredibly flavorful and had that homemade taste that reminds you of mom's cooking. Our server, Stephanie, was exceptional—always attentive and friendly, making our time there even more enjoyable. For the main course, we ordered the hamburger and fries, and I can confidently say it was the best burger I've had in a long time! Juicy and full of flavor, it exceeded all my expectations. This was definitely the best dining experience I've had in Fairbanks. I highly recommend Zach's Restaurant to anyone visiting the city; you won't regret it! I can't wait to go back and try more from the menu!

My husband and I enjoyed a sumptuous brunch at Zach's while staying at Sophie Station Suites. The host was warm, and the staff in training were welcoming as well. The biscuits and gravy were my favorite! I would highly recommend this restaurant for brunch.

I had a great time, but there were only 2 waitresses for the whole bar/restaurant area on a Friday night. The same two were mixing cocktails, attending tables and going for the food (that is in the restaurant area) apparently they don't have a way to know if some of the dishes are ready so they need to leave the bar area and walk to the restaurant area and see if something is ready, I notice sometimes no thing was ready so they returned back with empty cart losing time to attending more effectively the tables waiting for drinks or taking the orders. Obviously the service was extremely slow, the waitress was apologizing over and over. I know this is not the personnel fault but the manager or owner need to realize that people deserve better. The place is nice and also the food was good to get a little bit frustrated for this kind of details.

The pulled pork taquitos are amazing! I'm a lightweight when it comes to spicy, and these made my nose run a bit, but totally worth it! The bourbon pecan bread pudding was pretty good too.

Fairbanks fancy! This tucked away gem was a great choice for dinner. The main restaurant was closed for the evening, so I had dinner in the bar/library lounge. The setting was really cool and the food was great and the fish was cooked to perfection! The staff were very accommodating of my requests and checked on me frequently but not too much to be interruptive. Would definitely recommend!

Service was outstanding. Drinks are a little pricy, and the food was great. I’d rate the taste an 8/10. I’ve had better forsure. The environment was super nice, kinda classy. I’d like to come back and drink and smoke in the corner. The lighting is perfect. All the deserts were tasty and hot. Not too busy either and fast service.

Tired of seeing the same people over and over? Want to feel like you are travelling but without the expense? Go to Zach's and you will feel transported to another place. Comfy booths, strong coffee. Quiet and calm atmosphere. If you are a work from home person who is looking for a quiet place with food and internet and you won't be bothered, this might be your new go to spot. I didn't see any outlets but I would bet there are at least two tables here where you could also plug in. I like the fresh take on the corned beef hash. Friendly service. If you can't find me, I'm probably here, on my laptop drinking strong coffee and eating yummy food.

This review is purely on the Bar/Lounge side, not the restaurant side. Visited on a Saturday evening, most visitors I would assume are hotel guests most of whom are labor hands driving to/from the north, so that gives you an idea of the crowd. This is probably the better lounges in town, open and plenty of seating. The bar is tiny but packs a punch. It may not have have a big barside but they can make just about any cocktail you want... thus, no physical menu. That's may bit annoying for someone who isn't a usual drinker and needs a list to choose from. Also, had no clue how they charge for drinks. Food was surprisingly good, not sure why I had low expectations. The food came out at a reasonable rate. We had pulled pork nachos, foccacia bread and calamari. All were great. Service was relatively good. We weren't waited on very much, I'm guessing just typical evening traffic and chaos, but the ladies who did serve were very friendly and nice.

Get the peanut butter pie. You won't regret it.
