I have been going here for years, but do take out more frequently. Recently dined in twice in a week and had incredible food and service. A real gem. Lucky to have such a great Japanese spot on MI!

Not sure how this place could have anything other than a 5-star rating! Very friendly service and amazing food!! Vegetable tempura, Saba mackerel, beef-wrapped asparagus nigirii with mixed-greens sesame salad, and a delicious walnut-based dessert made for a great night out. 🙂

Another Japanese restaurant in Mercer Island. I ordered Chirashi sushi and my friend ordered Bento box. It was nice that my dish came with miso soup and a small salad. Quality of the fish was pretty good. I liked the fried shrimp head. Good amount of sashimi. Rice was a bit clumpy. We went in early ( before 5pm ish). The service was good. Attentive server and food came out pretty quickly.
I recommend this place over the other Japanese restaurant on this island.
Family friendly. Parking available.

What a hidden gem! We got dinner bento, negihama roll, and seventh roll. The quality is amazing. Everything is fresh and they use real crab in the rolls! We also dined in here and got sukiyaki and nabeyaki udon. Both were amazing and perfect for a cold day. Will definitely come back!

It’s a casual and friendly neighborhood spot for beautiful sushi and Japanese food. I especially love their curry dish. FYI Yuzen curry is not a typical Japanese style so don’t be surprised. It is elegantly creamy and very flavorful - goes well with a glass of white wine! Highly recommended.

Highly recommend NOT going here. Better food in Seattle or Bellevue for half the price. Yaki Udon was bland, Golden Cali fell apart and tasted weird, Kari Kari roll was saved by basically being cream cheese and eel sauce. $50 for ‘dinner’ for 2, including the price of Golden Cali, which we made clear we didn’t like and didn’t want to pay for. Took the Udon home to spice it up and try again 🤞🏻🥲 Going to stop for a real meal on the way home!
