Amazing location.
The house itself is really nice and surrounded by nature. It’s super quiet and even though it’s not inside Yosemite NP, it still feels very peaceful (we’ve also seen lots of wildlife around the area).
The house was cleaned and the owner was friendly and welcoming.

I feel that for what we paid (almost $700 for two nights) there’s some Space for improvements.

My suggestions would be to renovate the mattress/ bathrooms, while preserving of course the authenticity and personality of the house. The bed was quite squeaky and not super comfortable.
It would also be nice to find one or two vegan options.

Whilst we adapted to a vegetarian one (which was really good), and we both had eggs, it would be appreciated to find anything vegan (whether it’s a pie or cake/ a cookie or peanut and jam or anything savoury).

Other than this, we
Had a lovely stay and the whole staff was lovely and helpful. Would surely come back

Close to Yosemite National Park, this B&B was a great place to stay! Kathryn and Donald are great hosts! Our room the Eduardo was comfortable and clean, the private bathroom was awesome.
Kathryn left us homemade cookies and Tea/Coffee each day, and the Breakfast was terrific (fresh fruit, coffee, eggs, fried potatoes, and sausage). She had bagged breakfast the day we left for the Park early((6am) with a ham and cheese sandwich, apple, yogurt and an energy bar). There was lots of space we could use and a pool table too! I enjoyed my stay!

My sister and I stayed at Yosemite Rose in late April 2023. We only stayed 1 night but we thoroughly enjoyed it! It's a beautiful inn on a beautiful, expansive property in the foothills. Groveland is only minutes away where there are restaurants and stores. The hosts were so gracious and showed us all around the place. We met the animals (chickens, goats, horses, a young Angus steer, dogs & cats). We stayed in the Cynthia room. It was comfy and we had a sunset view out our window. If I stayed again I'd probably choose the downstairs room because it's larger with a bigger bathroom. And stairs are getting harder for me to navigate. Breakfast was amazing! So delicious with coffee and fresh squeezed OJ, on the screened in patio in the sunshine. So lovely. We highly recommend the Yosemite Rose for anyone traveling to the area.

My husband and I stayed at the inn for 3 nights while visiting Yosemite National park. We enjoyed our stay very much. The drive to the park is indeed longer than I would have liked but we were well aware when we booked here. This place is off the main road so is nice and quiet yet near restaurants and stores and the essentials. We were able to check in early and were greeted well and shown around the lovely home. We were able to get coffee or tea early before breakfast and the little things we asked about were accommodated. Breakfast was amazing each morning. I don’t know which meal was my favorite! We stayed in the Scelestia room and it was wonderful for sunset views. Bed was super comfy and the private bath was spacious. Daniel who served our breakfast two of the mornings was wonderfully friendly and had a wealth of info on the park and helped us better shape our itinerary. Since there is no tv we spent each evening playing pool and board games. Super fun. tHighly recommend staying here for a visit to the park.

Greeted by someone who didn't have our booking. . When we arrived there was no electricity! Then we were told we couldn't flush the toilet for which we were given a torch. We couldn't contact our heavily pregnant daughter as there was no wifi. When we took our cases upstairs it was to a room where we couldn't open the windows, the decor was from the 1970s and there was no view, fridge or television as advertised. The cupboard was a rail with a few metal hangers.| Additionally the lodge is a very long way from the entrance to the park with no restaurants nearby. We checked out immediately and are very glad we did.

We absolutely loved our stay here! We came for a family trip to Yosemite. This is a little bit away from the park entrance, but definitely worth it. The hosts were so friendly and willing to offer suggestions of places to go in and out of the park. The breakfasts prepared by Rebecca were something we looked forward to because they were so delicious and are personalized with garnish from their gardens. We enjoyed breakfast on the screened in veranda which offered the nicety of being outside while sheltered from the heat and bugs. The tables also had flowers from their garden. We were asked immediately upon check in if we had any dietary restrictions and when another couple said that they were vegetarian, TJ offered to an acceptable alternative. The room we stayed in was charming and comfortable. Our room (Cynthia) was in the front of the house and had a stunning sunset view. The bed was comfortable. They also offered dessert and tea or brandy in the evening. The rooms on the first floor contained a lot of history. The manor is surrounded by 200 acres of land, on which there is a horse pasture and beautiful flowers. At night, the sky is lit up with stars. We had a fun, comfortable stay and even got to know the hosts within the three nights we stayed! We will definitely be back!

What a great B&B located close to the west entrance of Yosemite. It's off the beaten path a bit, and you have to drive a few miles to Groveland for restaurants, but that's no problem. Breakfast is served at 8 am, and they have a To Go option if you want to get an earlier start. I recommend that option on weekends because the line to get into the park was soooo very long at 9 am. The staff (mostly family run) is amazing, welcoming, and informative about the park and surrounding area. The rooms were comfortable and the rates were more than reasonably priced compared to similarly located hotels.

We enjoyed an excellent stay at Yosemite Rose, near enough to Yosemite. The establishment was very clean and well organised, and a lovely period property; complete with memorabilia. The breakfasts were delicious. and the provision of a nightcap was a nice touch.|Strongly recommended; we would love to stay there again.
