The campground staff were quite undermanned because it was the end of the season so it was understandable, but led to much decreased camp activities for the kids and some miscommunication on an order placed for Yogi to come meet the children to deliver cookies and they didn’t show until really late…hours after bedtime. However, the staff apologized and repaired the situation in a very considerate way by bringing Yogi by for breakfast. It was a very nice gesture and went a long way to show they care. They also refunded us for the Yogi visit cost and provided a discount for our stay. The kids had a good time overall and if we were back in the area during a more active time of year, we would consider staying again.

This campground had been highly recommended to us. We did day passes during Labor Day weekend because we weren't sure we were going to like the campsites as there are no pictures available on their website. When I called to make the reservation, they made a mistake but quickly called back to resolve it. That was appreciated. When we arrived, there was no line, so we were able to get through pretty quickly. The pool and water park areas were small but still enjoyable. The game room was decent, but the pool table was missing some of the balls. There weren't as many activities as I had thought. Not much was going on in the craft area, either.

My kids got a bit hungry, so we decided to get some food. My daughter waited over 20 minutes at the counter after ordering her chicken tenders only to be told they had run out (at 3 p.m.). Then she had to wait again for an individual pizza that was mediocre at best.

The lifeguard? Walked around the water park when my child was the only one there, but sat down (not even paying attention) when multiple other kinds showed up.

When we were done, we decided to drive around to see the campsites. Frankly, they were horrible. Absolutely no space between you and your neighbors. Most sites, if not all, were unleveld. Some sites were right by the road with no barrier for safety.

For us, it is definitely not a good camping spot.

We have a marvelous time at Jellystone. Our campsite was perfect and our grandkids loved all the things to do.

We had a mechanical problem with our motorhome on the day we were to leave. The staff was the most understanding and accommodating. They offered help to find service, worked with the family that was to be in the campsite we were in and just went above and beyond my expectations!!!

Thanks so much Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park -- we WILL be back.

Very bad management, we had a reservation for 2 nights in three cabins, the lady doing the reservation made a mistake with one of them and reserved only one night, we were not aware of that. We paid and trust them and when we got there they told us we had to leave one of the cabins and we didn’t know what was going on, I went to the management see what happened and they told us they couldn’t do anything about it and no body took responsibility of their mistake. Very upset because we went there to have a good time and these people are so he to work with and the place is not even cheap.
The owner wasn’t there and they told us if he wasn’t there they couldn’t do anything about it.
What kind of business is that without a manager in charge!
Very disappointed and very upset the way they managed customer services. I wish I wouldn’t made reservations with them ever.
Plus bathrooms are dirty all the time.
Not mentioning that we had a bat inside the cabin at night.
Terrible experience!

The location was super convenient. The road noise was very loud, which we never quite got used to. Service was mediocre at best. They offered a lot of activities, but only followed through with half. We went above and beyond to decorate, and never heard if anyone won. They have overly strict rules about the pool. My son had a mishap with his snorkel, and they kicked him out of the pool permanently. That was so unfair!! The washer died and we never got our $ back. Just a lot of annoying things. The only good is that the option to buy food made this location a will return. 3 out 5, and maybe we see next year.

Highly recommend. After seeing some comments I was worried but once we got here and saw all the positive things the staff is doing I was highly impressed. Not only are they renovating while staying open they are making it a great experience for families. The pool, mini golf, and all the extra things they plan are definitely worth every penny! We stayed for a week and loved it. I definitely appreciated the staff as we have a special needs child and the staff were so amazing with her. Sadly our issues were with other guests. Adults and children! Which is sad. Just because a child looks different doesn’t mean they have a disease or are different. Adults need to do better. There were a few language barrier issues but if you take the time and are patient you can get past that. We’ve been to many Jellystones and this is by far the best we’ve been to.

We stayed in the Retro cabin 153. I will say I was disappointed with the cabin. It had a great layout and pretty much everything was supplied. The only problem with the cabin was, we needed to stuff the holes with tinfoil to keep the critters out and bugs as well. It does need alot of work. As far as some of the activities, there was no hey wagon ride or movie at night. Otherwise everything else was OK. We only saw Yogie Bear the one time but it was very hot outside.
I have to say that all of the staff was wonderful. They are all from different countries as well as college kids. Wonderful staff. Awesome to talk with. They would help you in a minute if you needed something.
I had posted a review previously but I wanted to add another comment. After reading some of the reviews, I truly can't understand how people can complain about the staff. Yes they are from other countries but they are some of the nicest people. They were there at anytime to help us if it was needed. The best part is they would stop and just chat with you. So all the people who gave bad reviews about the staff i think are nuts.
Again, I think if there was more work done on the cabins, reviews would be better.

I wish we would’ve read the reviews prior to booking. Jellystone name, but not Jellystone standards.
This place looks like it hasn’t been touched for decades. Run-down. Trashy, even.
The sites are barely marked, with about 1/3-1/2 of the markers fallen down or missing completely. They are a TIGHT squeeze and so on top of one another you aren’t even sure which teeny metal fire ring is yours or your neighbors. Ours was slanted on a hill, with many tree roots sticking out all over and next to a dumpy trailer-looking ā€˜cabin’.
The campground is noisy -total chaos: no one drives the correct way on the one-ways and the worst offenders seem to be their own staff with how fast they drive. It is awful hilly and while my family are fit -i’d say it’s less than ā€˜walkable’ and not for multiple trips per day to & from the ā€˜water park’.
Oh yes, the ā€˜water park’. What a joke! It’s falling apart, not clean at all, and so crowded -too small for how many campers they try to cram in there. They do have lifeguards which from my experience paid due attention but do NOT expect a Jellystone-level water park. The lounge chairs are too few and some broken or so faded and worn, they aren’t comfortable.
I think we saw Yogi once, the ā€˜attractions’ were very unorganized and the hay ride on Friday night consisted of multiple trips around the park yelling up until 10pm -not ideal for families with babies or little ones. Also you have to pay to use the mini golf and it’s pretty lame-not worth more than a quarter but they charge $7.50!
We honestly wanted to leave early -there is no noise control and the proximity to the interstate makes you feel anything but relaxed. Be ready to leave with a pounding headache.
If this was our first trip to Jellystone, we’d never go to another.
Do NOT stay here… drive the extra hour to Warrens and actually enjoy your time & feel like you’ve got your money’s worth.
This place should NOT be open.
