Hands down one of the best places I have stayed at. Felt like I was CB part of the family. Room was clean and very nice. Nothing that was needed was provided. Will most definitely be back. The area is just beautiful. Trails on the property were very nice and well marked. Pond was a gem, swimming and kayaks were there as well. Just a most relaxing time.

This place is a hidden gem. It's 8 mi from the main road, you cannot hear traffic here. It is so incredibly peaceful and beautiful. The rooms are nice there's no AC, but it's mountain air so it's still not bad. But it's like a hidden paradise.

We had a great time camping under a massive oak with electric hook up. We were steps from the bathrooms/shower room at the end of the lodge and a very short walk up a small incline to the pond. The pond is large and there are 2 canoes for your use. There are 2 beautiful and primitive camping sites, one at end side of the pond. They are large sites and private and short walk to bathrooms. The hosts are very kind with quick responses. The drive up the mountain was windy but very pretty views and animals like deer, chipmunks, fox and more. The closest real grocery is around 45 minutes away so prepare well. Gas is closer. There are 2 state parks close by, 2 large caverns and many historical signs. You're near the top of the mountain so your view are the treetops of other mountains. Very peaceful. Ask questions of the caretakers as they are very quick to respond. Go ahead and book this place, you will love it!

I was lucky enough to spend a few days at the YEW several years ago on a yoga retreat. I'm not sure why it took me so long to leave this review because honestly this place is heaven. A remote little hideaway to relax and connect with the natural world. I learned a lot about plants and forest farming, met so many kind and interesting people with a strong sense of community, and fell asleep in a cozy bed to the sound of rain and chirping frogs. Whether your looking to relax, learn or create, the YEW is bound to bring you inspiration.

Lovely, rustic and completely authentic educational and retreat center. The folks who take care of the place are knowledgeable, resourceful, and supportive. Accomodations in the lodge rooms are spare but clean and comfortable. The place is well-suited to all sorts of outdoor learning and old-fashioned fun.

❤️What a super special way to spend my 41st Birthday! The #yewmountaincenter is a magnificent place with beauty all around.

Everyone we met there was so wonderful and helpful! We will definitely return and look forward to spending quality time there again soon.

Yew Mountain is a place we love to come to recharge and unwind. You can actually see the entire milky way! It is so quiet, and if you want to take part, the people here are amazing! We look forward to hanging out after a day of events.

I went there five years ago with a friend, it was the mushroom 🍄 picking and the people in charge cooked the mushroom and we had a lovely dinner

Can you tell me when that event is scheduled again I sure would love to come again it was such fun and I've learned a lot about mushrooms
