We had a fabulous stay at the Yakutat Bay Bed & Breakfast during the Yakutat Tern Festival in June 2024. We stayed in Moose Track room with the bathroom just outside our room. The room with the queen-size bed was lovely, but the real highlight was the lodge and the view. And we enjoyed the lovely home-made breakfast every morning. There's a large kitchen where the cook can prepare food for a large group. She told us of a large group of 20 renting the whole lodge and she'll be preparing dinner for the group! Sounds perfect. Thanks for a lovely time in Yakutat!

This is the 2nd time my son and I stayed here and we had another fantastic trip. Fonda our host was very accommodating and made us feel at home. She is also a very good cook and made a delicious breakfast each morning of our choice and made the most delicious breads that we munched on all day. ||The lodge is well appointed, very clean and has a real Alaska feel to it. The views are simply amazing and there is plenty of room and we never felt crowded even the few days when it was full. ||We caught a lot of sockeye salmon in the river each day and rented a boat from the lodge and caught many nice halibut and lingcod. The fishing in the bay is actually pretty good and a great option when the ocean is rough. ||The fish processing room is first class and we saved so much money processing our fish ourselves. ||Reservations are super easy now that everything can be done online. ||The people I. Yakutat are always very friendly and we are looking forward to returning next year.

We've stay in many places in Alaska for fishing, Yakutat B & B was great for our group of 6. Can't expect the Hilton when you go to these remote fishing towns. Eric was so friendly and helpful. Everything worked and was clean upon our arrival. We're going back next year, renting the whole lodge this time. Views were great from every room.

I cannot recommend this lodge highly enough. I mean, Yakutat is an amazing place to be in by itself, but the lodge and its comfortable accommodations and small-town-friendly service somehow made it that much better.

For a steelhead bum like myself, Yakutat Bay was the perfect place to end a long day of fishing at, and again the perfect place from which to stage operations the next day! There's a heated room for drying off waders and rain jackets, a kitchen for all of your eatery needs, a quaint living room that I could've easily whiled away hours just sitting in (had the steelhead fishing not been so good...), and the bedrooms were clean and quiet.

If you ever find yourself fortunate enough to be going to Yakutat, give Barb and Dave a call. You'll remember this place forever.

This place was perfect for 7 of us to stay for a week. Everything was well kept and clean. Fonda (the manager) was on hand to take care of anything we needed. She even cooked breakfast for us each morning. I didn’t want to write this review since Yakutat Bay B&B is now my favorite place to stay in Yakutat!

We stayed at the Yakutat BNB on our way to a kayak trip. The innkeeper, Amy, promptly picked us up at the airport and was so friendly and welcoming. The facility has a large kitchen for communal eating and preparing food. The beds were comfortable and showers were hot. We had a gorgeous view of the bay. There are also washer and dryer available for use. The town is quite small so it was so nice to have the grocery store walking distance. Highly recommend!

Spent third week of August here, it was great! 3-bedroom apartment with beautiful views of the bay. Chris, the manager, is a heck of a nice guy. Always checked to see if we needed anything or to lend some fishing advice.

Comfortable, spacious accommodations with a full kitchen and 2 bathrooms. We will be back next year. Thanks Chris!
