We came here because of the fact that it’s a gluten-free bakery. When we walked in, there was a huge line, which shows that it is very popular. We took goodies to go, but there was a very large area to sit and hang out, which was very well decorated. The food was delicious, and we will definitely go back.

This place is great! My family has many dietary restrictions that make it hard to find something to enjoy when going out, so once we found this place, we go very often. We've tried the whole menu 😋 and everything is so good, and we look forward to new additions with the changing seasons. They also make whole bread loaves, cakes, and pies, which I'm definitely getting for the holidays!

Fantastic spot to visit especially on a damp and cooler day. The desserts are very good but the coffee is 'so-so'. Unique layout and atmosphere that 'feels' historic. We had a nice spot in front of the fireplace. Open concept with some unique and private areas to sit in.

The carrot cake was fantastic. Plenty of interesting choices.

Wrens Nest is always a five star experience!

I found this bakery 2 to 3 months ago and cannot stay away!

It is dedicated gluten-free yet I don't tell my friends who can tolerate gluten my little secret!

On Saturdays, they make the cinnamon rolls and they were always flying out the door!!

My favorite go to meal is the sausage egg and cheese kolash and a cappuccino. I almost always take home a slice of carrot cake. Sooooo good!!!

Inside, it's one of the nicest, most relaxing places in Tacoma. The natural wood elements blend in nicely with our Pacific Northwest vibe.

Service is always spot on, the crew is genuinely nice.

Lorene and Cliff are two of the owners and I see them there often.

I have a service dog, and it never fails that they ask me the same questions every time we come in, yet they are valid questions about service dogs. I appreciate that they stick to the questions they are allowed to ask and don't make us feel bad about coming to enjoy breakfast every week or so.

Come check out Wren's Nest Baking, you will not be disappointed !

Just found this place and I'm really impressed by their dough! Nothing was overly dry or chalky, which is generally the worst part of gf food. Everything I ate was safe and delicious. 10/10 would recommend.

An absolute gem with clearly labeled vegetarian and vegan options. Though busy, the long line moved swiftly and was worth the wait! We tried the mushroom quiche, cheesecake, coffee cake, blueberry scone, sourdough loaf, kolaches, and cinnamon roll (Saturday only). Every gluten free item was amazing! Highly recommend!

We stopped by for a quick bite unaware everything is gluten free. We shared a Sun-Dried Tomato Pesto Kolache and were pleasantly surprised. It was tasty, moist and healthy. The mocha was good too. Of course we had to grab a loaf of their sourdough bread and Carrot Spice Muffin. The bread was tasty but a little dry for my like but the muffin was full of flavor. The ambiance is pretty cool and perfect for a small party or gathering (it's right next to a chapel too) I love all the vintage equipment and moody wood and the history of the builder and building is impressive. We will definitely try them out again.

I tried their pastries when they first opened and they were great. I got a couple quiches today and there were delicious. I'm pretty disappointed in their sourdough loaf though. I was excited for the jalapeño cheddar loaf because it looked great on the outside, but when I cut into it, it was very gummy and wet. After toasting it for 10 mins, it still wasn't toasted. Which is a possibility with gluten free but to be an all GF bakery, I trusted they had the texture perfected by now. There's also little to no inclusions and has an odd taste. I wouldn't be able to tell it was jalapeño cheddar if I wasn't the one that ordered it.
