We have stayed here probably 6 times in the past 8 years. The beds are comfortable. Property is quiet and beautiful. Usually the rooms are clean, but our last experience felt like we were staying in a 2 star Motel 6 in relation to cleanliness. The 2 bedroom we were in definitely needed some deep cleaning done. I was disappointed because in the past it has been very nice and clean.

I enjoyed a week here in a studio in November. It was decently clean although not the cleanest place. There are great amenities including plenty of walking trails and warm pool/hot tub. Finding the light switches for everything was a fun game lol. The activities of interest around Tucson are pretty spread out and I did not find this to be very central so we did a lot of driving. However the immediate area is nice and it felt safe. The staff seemed nice too although we did not interact much. I would not hesitate to stay here again if my interests were nearby.

We booked a 2 bedroom and stayed in room 116. The kitchen had everything we needed for the week long stay. Loved the view of the surrounding mountains from our back patio and enjoyed having our own BBQ. The location is beautiful and there is the Preserve Vistoso trails practically right out back. We saw deer, a bobcat, quail, javelina, and jack rabbits on our hikes. That said, my daughter lives in the heart of Tucson and it took us 30-45 minutes to travel to her. The desert museum was a 35 minute drive and the airport was a 40 minute drive. So keep that in mind if booking this location. It was near grocery shopping and restaurants - just the Oro Valley grocery stores and restaurants - not the Tucson ones.

I stayed here for 3 weeks. The property and the rooms are very nice! I felt safe, was in a good location. Plenty of walking trails close by. Rooms are cozy and comfy, have plenty of room. Also a fireplace, full kitchen, and washer and dryer. Feels like a home away from home! I would recommend and stay here again.

We LOVED staying here!! Not only from the start, but throughout the entire week of our stay, the customer service was truly amazing. We got in from driving from PHX with two kids after our flight from DFW, and were way earlier than check in. Diane at the front desk was beyond kind and accommodating. Not only did she get us into a room within an hour of our first interaction with her but she went above and beyond to make sure we had all the info needed for our trip. She was nothing but sweet and gracious with the girls, giving them activities and interacting with them, truthfully always going out of her way to make this trip special for them, and alleviate us as well. Not only the service was amazing, but equally the rooms were so perfect for our family, fully stocked with everything we needed for the week. Amenities were wonderful, a perfect little gym and a lovely pool, with multiple hot tubs across the property. All in all, will definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a stay in Oro Valley!

I did not expect this timeshare resort to be in the middle of a very large housing development.|We booked this property as it was one of the nearest to the pinal air park. It was actually quite easy to find despite being in a sea of similar looking houses.||The reception staff were helpful on check in. We were advised that the allocated apartment would not be ready till 4pm (or we could opt for a second floor apartment immediately) so we followed their instructions to the local Safeway for groceries. The resort supplies a very handy map with restaurants, grocery stores etc marked. ||Our ground floor apartment (116) was located in a corner by the road. 2 bedrooms (1 double 1 twin), 2 bathrooms, well appointed kitchen, lounge area with large tv etc. there is also a Murphy bed located between lounge and dining area. This means the apartment can sleep 6.||There were a few niggles, but nothing serious. The air con unit outside the twin bedroom was very noisy. There was no full length mirror at all.||If you are looking for an alternative to a standard hotel, you cannot go wrong with this resort

Itโ€™s a must for us! We will never stay anywhere else. Not only is the front desk the most accommodating Iโ€™ve ever met in my entire life. But the place is extremely spacious along with being extraordinarily clean. They offer amenities that an Airbnb will not even be able to match. When we come to Tucson, this is exactly where we stay. We are a family of six and there is nowhere else I would rather be.P

Not a great first experience with Wyndham.

I checked in to find that the incorrect reservation had been sent to the property. Instead of the four-night stay I booked, they had two separate one-night reservations instead - I almost didn't have a room for half my stay. The front desk agent was friendly and spent a considerable amount of time on the phone trying to fix the issue, but it took 30 minutes.

Booking with Extra Holidays, listed here as the official site, promised that two rewards would be emailed to me the day before checkin. They were not. I wrote to support to inquire and was told that I had to log into to see them. When I did log in, I found that the promised rewards would expire two days after the trip. It feels like a cheap ploy to keep them from being redeemed.

Because of the reservation mixup, I was charged twice for the stay - once by Extra Rewards when I booked, again by Wyndham after check-out. The situation was resolved with a refund of the duplicate charge, but only after calling to get it sorted out.

It is a nice property, and the staff onsite were great. In the end, I got what I paid (twice) for, hence 3 stars instead of 1, but the whole experience reeked of the bait-and-switch tactics that timeshares are notorious for.
