One of our best stops in Madison! We saw this spot bustling while we were at the farmers market and decided to come by the next morning. We ordered avocado toast that came with avocado, radishes, a poached egg, pea shoots, chili oil and local greens on a thick cut of toast. They were absolutely delicious! For coffees we ordered the iced salted caramel latte and a special that had rose in it- I definitely recommend the salted caramel more. Fair warning: this place seems to be packed from open to close. You probably will need to wait for a table. There was definitely added traffic from tourists in the area or people visiting the farmers market. The added traffic and business makes the space not as spruced up as it could be- but when we asked someone to wipe our table down they did so happily. I look forward to visiting again!

I love to come here and work or read or do anything for a short while. I have my favorite spot in the back corner of the shop with a great view out the large sunny windows looking north west. The food selection here is pretty good for a coffee shop I have a few of the bakery items before and I always enjoy them. Personally I love my coffee pretty sweet and creamy so sometimes this isn’t always up my alley but objectively the espresso shots are well pulled and I enjoy whatever I get. It gets very crowded summertime on the weekends but I always like to go on a quiet bluebird winter morning for the best time.

I would recommend this coffee shop if you like aesthetic study areas, pretty plants, and more simple coffee drinks > fancy lattes! While I prefer trying places with unique latte flavors highlighted, this is more of a pour over coffee / good quality bean type of place.

I would suggest visiting bc the coffee shop is just so cute & unique inside!

Love this coffee shop in Madison on the Square. Our Go-to when we visit our Badger because of the gluten free cornbread...we order with bacon egg cheese and it's DELICIOUS. I recommend to all my gf peeps/groups. Used to be 2 slices of bread, but I think just the one slice is actually easier to eat. Bravo Wonderstate!

Lots of natural light and also some natural roasted coffee. Big space that allows social distancing while enjoying coffee and conversation. The restrooms were open which is a big thing in 2021

2024 - got a 12 ounce drip coffee to go and, boy did it drip all over my hands on my walk back to the office. The coffee isn't good enough to warrant wearing it all day long. Unless I plan to stay at the cafe, I won't return

Had a yummy pour over that, unfortunately, cost nearly $9. The pricing on the menu is opaque, at best. If you aren't sure, ask. I will next time

Lovely ambiance and good location near the capital. Coffee tasted like it was high quality and there were some other fun items for sale. It’d be nice if the menu was bigger and if they carried things like dark chocolate. But otherwise it can be one of the best stops for coffee in Madison.

The coffee was good and I liked that you could add the creamer yourself. The only thing I didn't like was that the area where you added the creamer to your drink was right next to the register, so I just felt like I was in everyone's way.
