I was very much disappointed. During my previous stays the hotel was run by Choice Hotels. This is no longer the case and seems to be a private company now. Attention to details were not there like they used to be.
1) Had a one cup coffee pot in the room. Was supplied with a four cup packet of coffee. I asked at the front desk if I could get one cup packets. All they had were the four cup packets and was told to run them through the brewing process several times. I tried that but after the first brew the grounds were soaked and water would not run through them. Instead the hot steaming water shot out of the brewer all over the place including on me. Very unsafe.
2) The only functional ice machine that could be found was on the first floor down the hall from the lobby. The one near my room was marked "out of order". It was ridiculous to have to take a five minute walk carrying a very small ice bucket. It wasn't worth the walk.
3) One of the things that I always enjoyed when staying here in the past was the breakfast buffet. It was so good that locals would also come in to enjoy the buffet. This trip, no buffet and not many customers.

These things alone show me how much less this hotel caters to it's customers and I know the next time I stay in the Dells area I will be staying somewhere else.

Two night stay with a 7 and 10 year old. First of all check in was efficient and the staff was really nice! There was a problem with our online booking through another site so they upgraded us at no charge and it went great. The room location in proximity to the parking was great- made it so easy. Parking is free which is awesome. Room definitely needed some cosmetic updates but overall seemed very clean! Pool areas outdated but once again seemed very clean! My kids and I enjoyed it and would come back again!

I always love this place. Great indoor and outdoor water parks considering it’s not one of the mega hotels. Walking distance to lots of restaurants and the big arcade next door. We have stayed a few different years. My daughter is 6 and still loves this place. I hope they never change a thing! Actually, bring the pirate ship playground back if ya could.

The kids loved the indoor and outdoor water parks. Spent hours on the slides. Staff is friendly and helpful - we had a maintenance issue and they responded quickly.

The building is exactly the same on the inside as you'd expect on the outside - it has character, but also "old building" issues. The AC and bathroom vents can't keep up with moisture removal, so clothes/swimsuits take awhile to dry. Some of the carpets still carry faint hints of the era when people smoked in hotels. Also there is a shortage of power outlets in the rooms - I would suggest to management that you look into nightstands with built-in USB ports.

So it's not perfect, but overall this place is a great value, a great location and lots of fun for the kids. Would stay here again.

I've been going here yearly for about 12 years.
It's my favorite Dells resort.
The indoor pool is great for young people.
The outdoor pool is spacious and nice.
The gardens are beautiful.
The drinks from the bar are always made right.
And we take a picture with Shivers every year.
The breakfast buffet is a good price and not over crowded.

This was our 1st time booking with this resort! It was an amazing experience we will definitely be back! The commutation from the staff is great! There was some issues with our original room and they called us as we were on our way to let us know they were having issues with the room so they had to upgrade us at no charge! We will definitely be back. The pool area was such a nice place to relax 😍 the staff makes you feel welcomed from the very first moment you walk in! The only thing is the a.c in the room was not cooling but other then that the stay was amazing!

Great place to stay with my family. We have stayed here two years in a row. This year the rain stopped us from enjoying all the sites we wanted to go to at the Dells. Our rooms were ready so Michelle at the front desk allowed us to check in early. The whole family (six of us) spent the rest of the day in the indoor pool. It was the best thing we did all weekend! Thanks Michelle! We will be back next year.

We love this hotel! Staff is friendly, the beds are comfy and the rooms are clean. My 4 year old loves the pool area especially the indoor area because of the child friendly slide and the small polar bear slide in the pool. Only docking a point because our comforter on one of our beds is ripped/falling apart and the pool area is in need of major upkeeping and an update.
