Coffee was sludge.

Floor was sticky in rooms. Dust thick on top of headboard.

Very nice new rooms - furniture, beds.

New chairs and tables in lobby don't work together, chairs too low.

Lots of old furniture sitting around from remodel...looked trashy.

Landscaping full of weeds.

Trash in parking lot.

Elevator - lots of fingerprints.

Ice machines not working.

Ho hum. Not bad, just so so.

The pool could have been warmer an a little bit cleaner the fitness center wasn’t much a fitness center but everything else was great the breakfast was good with some good options an it was hot like the pancakes was made right in front of u an they was so good! The girl at the front counter was very nice and u can tell she worked a lot of hours cause she was there when we checked in at nite was there when we went to get another bite an was there when I. Needed a new key later in the day! An she was very nice ! Wish I remembered her name tho

Fully renovated Wingate that is better value than other hotels in the area. Best guest service with brand new rooms, a complementary hot breakfast is plus. I always stay here as it provides the indoor hot tub and pool with necessary amenities. Its walking distance from many restaurants and businesses. Modern bathrooms, a coffee bar, sofa & coffee table, brand new bed/mattresses and 55” TV, and ambiance lights in the room is all I need for a comfortable stay.

Looks like house keeping was rushed for time. They should give those crews a few more minutes per room. Over ok stay. No going to complain about the room next door smoking the devils garden. I thought about it but then quickly forgot about and ordered room service. Had to order double drinks. I just had dry cottonmouth all night. Maybe the humidity was off. Got a great sleep.

My biggest issue with hotels is the ONE thing I selected to make sure they had was a pool as I have 2 kiddos and it was supposed to be a fun time, however, when you check in you see a sign that says "Pool is undergoing renovations", so now I have 2 kiddos mad and upset because they were told they could swim. Also, why don't they put this on their website and/or notify their 3rd party that the pool is down or whatever amenities you want are not available for some reason. This will be a long night for us, as the fun time that was promised is no longer happening.

I had the worst stay at a hotel of my life at this place. I was charged $109.00 for one night. I had issues with check in. The room (112) they assigned me was a pure torture. The heater rattled and was loud. The small fridge winded and popped all night. The water was Luke warm at best. The toilet seat shifted around. The shower door would not stay closed. The king size bed was so uncomfortable, and the pillows felt like sleeping on rocks. As for the rest of the place. The mini gym was dirty and smelled really bad. For a non smoking place the hallways smelled like cigarette smoke. Breakfast was late and well as for taste I would give it 2 out of 5 stars. The floors was sticky and your shoes crunched as you walked. I got maybe an hour and half of sleep all night. Ohh and the free coffee was more like syrup instead of coffee. This is one place I will not be staying in again. I had to give 2 stars because of the two ladies that worked that night. What sweet hearts they were.

UPDATE: I contacted the manager about my issues. He made multiple excuses and in the end he gave back $34.05 out of $108.00. WOW!!!!!

They are doing a little remodeling in the lobby at this time. Other than that the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Nicely priced for the area.The people that were on night shift and morning shift, including the lady doing laundry, were all helpful and took time to help and answer any questions I had.

Loved this place and location but most of all the 24hour pool and hot tub(which actually worked!) Stayed two days, great price, housekeeping was friendly(hard to find these days) great stay! will stay again.
