Staying at the beautiful Windmill House was easily the highlight of my time in the Capitola area. Whether it was relaxing on the riverside dock, hitting the hot tub after an afternoon of surfing, or warming up around the outdoor fire pit, the Windmill House made our 5 day stay absolutely unforgettable. My friends and I had the chance to stay at this unique house three years ago. We loved it so much that we decided to return for another four nights this past February! The location is as good as it gets, as you’re only a five minute walk to the beach and all the food options in between. The house is like no other in the area, as the property stretches under an old trestle bridge, has a full riverside patio, a second floor sun deck, a hot tub, and everything else you’ll need to relax. With plenty of room to comfortably sleep, eat, and play.... I hope to be returning again soon!

The Windmill house was the perfect accommodation for our vacation. The hot tub and relaxing outdoor spaces were great for winding down after a day exploring the area. This house was the highlight of our stay in Capitola. Would highly recommend!

Just got back from a 5 day stay at the Capitola Silo House and oh what a stay it was! Waking up to the sounds of the river every morning, cooking breakfast in the fully stocked kitchen and sipping coffee on the patio was the perfect start to our days in Capitola. The vibrant decor and cozy furnishings provide a perfect ambience for a relaxing vacation. The house was sparkling clean when we got there and the host was extremely helpful and caring. Would definitely stay here again if I got the chance and would recommend anybody to stay here!

The Windmill house was an amazing, once-in-a-lifetime experience! We stayed there for 5 days in February and each day was truly better than the last. Our host's were incredibly generous and made all of us feel at home. I can say without a doubt I'll be thinking about the experience for years to come.

The windmill house was an incredibly beautiful, and creative space, hosted by some of the most generous people I have ever encountered. The design of windmill house is a clear representation of how life is in Capitola, highlighted by a vibrant interior, rich landscape, and a devotion to detail form top to bottom. Stunning design, perfect location, and amazing hosts has made this place one of my favourites in all of California and I cannot wait to come back.

I stayed at this Air BnB for 5 days on vacation and couldn't recommend it higher. Perfect location, has a view of the beach and is a 3 minute walk from down town Captiola. The hosts thought of absolutely everything for this place--the interior is full of character, there's outdoor patios, a hot tub, putting green, ping pong table, and anything needed to make for a great stay. An absolute must if you're planning a trip to Capitola!
