Eclectic atmosphere. Great food. We tried tomato pie, the heavenly Parmesan dipping sauce and bread, smothered chicken, and hamburger steak. We enjoyed it all so much. Definitely visit again.

Beautiful, quaint Cafe. Parking area is bigger than it seems when first pulling in. Gravel lot, but there is a handicapped ramp up to the door. Inside not very handicapped friendly. Differing floor materials and levels.
Spent a weekend in Mentone and ate here for lunch one day, and dinner the next. They don't take lunch reservations, but I recommend making reservations for dinner as this place is always busy. Specialty is Tomato Pie, which I tried. Wasn't crazy about it. At lunch my husband had BBQ Vegan Portobello Burger and it was very good. I noticed many customers were ordering their burgers, and the nachos looked really good. Liked that they had several vegetarian, and also vegan, options on lunch and dinner menu. I did really enjoy the Creamy Potato Soup and the Grilled Fresh Caught Salmon with Smashed Garlic Potatoes and Roasted Root Vegetable I had at dinner. Also several tasty looking desserts. The crepes looked delicious. I ordered the carrot cake to take with me and it was very good. The frosting wasn't real sweet which was great for me.
If it's busy, its definitely worth the wait. Food was very good.

We made it just in time to grab lunch and we are so grateful we didn't miss out. My stepdaughter who considers herself to be a "hamburger consouer" said the Canyon Burger on the kids menu is the best burger she's ever had. We were very impressed with the atmosphere, the service, the fun artwork and especially the peanut butter pie. Do yourself a favor and make sure you get a slice even if it is to go!

This local restaurant is very cozy, tucked in the mountains. We loved the tomato pie and all the desserts we’ve tried. Plenty of parking. Very friendly service. Highly recommend it!

We ate here for lunch yesterday. I really wanted to like this place. It’s a really cute, unique little spot. After we were seated outside we waited almost 30 minutes for our two waters. (My husband was ready to leave at this point.) This was after having to flag down 2 different people, one being a hostess. The food came out & looked really good. I was eating my tomato pie & look down to see a black hair that had been cooked in the middle of it. I of course lost my appetite after that. Was highly disappointed! At least they took off the cost of the tomato pie.

Thus, the restaurant was great. The steaks were cooked 100% perfectly. The mashed potatoes were great. The vegetable side needs some work. The salad is good if you like yard salad. The service was great . The menu stats market price almost every where.

Loved the atmosphere. They sold a lot of handmade items such as shawls and necklaces. The food was also good, we ordered the pesto primavera grilled cheese and it was very good.

However, parking is difficult in the lot. Also, there was about a 30min wait to get seated and a decently long wait to get our food as well.

Clean bathrooms.
