I went here as a solo male on a Thursday. I asked permission first since I know they try to keep a balance of males to females. I’m an AANR member and practice naturism for positive and ethical reasons. I was really impressed with the resort. The lady that checked me in was really helpful, funny, welcoming, and polite. The pools are clean and modern. There is a trail to walk, hot tub, banquet room, store, chapel, lots of camps, restaurant, etc. This place is the real deal. It was pretty quiet on a Thursday. I talked to a few people but tried to mind my own business mostly since I was a single male that nobody knew. Everybody said hi to me. One guy in his mid fifties talked to me for a little. He was with his wife. He had penis piercings and when he was sunning he kept caressing his own arms and legs and occasionally would rub his crotch some for some reason. An older couple came to the pool to take a nap on the lawn chairs. They slept on their sides and when the husband woke up he had a hard time sitting up. He was built like Santa and had to ratchet himself up a little at a time. Then he sat there getting his wits about him. He finally got up and belched and walked to the bathroom. There was a man mowing the lawn and a guy working on the grounds. A few swimmers in the pool, a lady on a bicycle. I really thought the place was neat and seems like they have a lot of activities planned. Some people live there full time. It was like a community of real people but they were just clothes free. I think if I stayed into the night I could have had a chance to socialize and meet more people. I am pretty amazed with the resort and it was a great experience.

The facilities are somewhat in need of updating, particularly the park models, which is what we stayed in. The indoor pool, hot tub and sauna were nice and we initially wanted to return, although the restaurant had some issues. However, when we went to book a return trip we were told we were on the do not admit list for basically no reason, despite checking our room to make sure we had obtained everything. There were a few items left behind That were used in our room only and some items of smoking material that were not used in the room, but outside. Despite this we were told we were not allowed to come back and we believe this is unfair because we never violated any rules. We did not smoke in the room and the personal items that were left were used in the privacy of our own room where nobody knew they were being used. It is frustrating because we wanted to go back soon despite the initial problems since most of the people there were friendly, although there was a discussion about my wife having an interest in swinging which I thought was inappropriate since she does not. My wife it's also black and was one of the few Black people there that weekend because of the arbitrary nature of our being excluded. We thought her race might be part of the reason. Anyway, we were extremely disappointed since we did everything we could to use the facility within the rules we were given.

We had a wonderful and relaxing week. The people were extremely open and friendly with us newcomers. This started at check in when the gentlemen at the desk did an outstanding job of explaining all the amenities and policies. There was a variety of ages and o the demographics so it really was a family friendly experience for everyone. It wasn’t too crowded at any point in our visit and the pools and hot tub were clean and nice. They also have a game room and a library in case you forgot pool side reading. We were disappointed the main restaurant was closed while we were there but “The Breeze” snack bar had sandwiches and burgers at very good prices. I hope to make it back some time. A very relaxing trip and we had very little laundry when we got home.

I stayed here for a few days over the summer. The accommodations were poor - half of a trailer with uneven floors, no way to prepare a meal, not especially clean. The pool was nice. The restaurant was closed and the snack bar closed too early for dinner, making it necessary to drive out every night to find a restaurant. Last day of my visit was marred by an unpleasant encounter with a rude and belligerent groundskeeper. It’s cheap, but I wouldn’t go back.

My wife and I have owned a place there for over a year, and go there almost weekly. Have always had a great time. Have met people that otherwise would never have had the opportunity to know, and have greatly expanded our social contacts. Friendly, respectful and safe. Rules are reasonable and strictly enforced. Particularly love the dances. It’s such a hoot to see 50 buck naked people line dancing 😀. WTR is very well maintained and has a large variety of activities. Try it, you’ll love it.

Best resort we've been to. We went during the week for our first visit to get the feel of the place, so it was pretty quiet. That said, the few people we encountered were in full relax mode and very friendly.
ZERO complaints...none.
The pools and hot tub are wonderful. Bathrooms and common areas were spotless and clean. The staff were all very happy and friendly.
The food at the concession stand was awesome!
We had such a great day, and can't wait to visit again very soon!
If you're thinking of going or signing up for a full membership, I highly recommend it.

There’s a decent outdoor pool, surrounded by lots of lounge chairs - so many, in fact, that it can be difficult to navigate between them. But that’s ok. I stayed in one of their “rooms”!which is simply a part of an old trailer with sagging floors, an aging bathroom, a loud air conditioner, and a refrigerator and a tiny table. The refrigerator can be used to store food, and there’s an antique microwave to heat things in, but you’d better bring your own fork, because there are no utensils. On-site dining options are very limited. Their weekends-only restaurant was closed the weekend I arrived. The snack bar by the pool is open only for a few hours a day and closes before dinner hour, so I had to leave every night to find a restaurant for dinner. The worst thing about my visit was an unpleasant encounter with an extraordinarily surly and belligerent landscaper who positioned himself so that his string trimmer was flinging cuttings directly at me. When I told him this, he said “you could move” in a tone of voice that made it clear that his convenience was more important than my comfort. I won’t be going back. Cypress Cove in Florida is much nicer in every respect.
