My wife and I spent 3 nights here and really enjoyed it. Riding out into the desert was a highlight for us. Our room was spacious and well appointed. The self-service bar and lounge were lively and ranch themed. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, as were the other guests. The food was good and no chance of going hungry. I would highly recommend White Stallion.

We come here as a family again and again! The staff is very friendly, the food is great and they have always been great about our special dietary needs. The landscaping is beautiful and it draws enough birds to do a little birding! As a family we ride horses, play pickleball, basketball, pool, swim, shooting and archery. We have also hiked, gone rock climbing, and participated in a falconry demonstration. The day ends with live cowboy songs around the fire, line dancing, or a painting lesson. What can I say, we love White Stallion Ranch.

This was my first time on a dude ranch & it was so fun!! Bob & Sharon were great shooting teachers and made that activity a blast. 💥 The staff are so friendly and accommodating. I wished there was a better orientation to the horses and the wranglers. It would be nice to have a little do’s & don’ts for some one like me who hardly ever rides. 🐎 The food is ok, it wasn’t great, but you don’t come for the food. I loved the disconnect from technology which made my vacation more relaxing. 🌀 The watercolor activity was wonderful too! That’s a must do. 🎨 I will definitely be back. Hopefully the coffee stronger next time ☕️ 😉🌵

We had a SAAA EVENT there and it is a beautiful property all around. Horses for riding and wonderful grounds for walking. Good food and friendly staff. If you want a real western experience. The history is rich and they have made a lovely oasis there. We'll definitely be back to check out the rooms sometime. If you have a mobility problem you can have a motorized riding chair delivered to the Ranch and picked up when your done . Perfect for getting around. It was ordered at Mobility Plus.

Had the best time at White Stallion Ranch! I can see why people come back here year after year and come next year I will officially be a repeat guest!!!

Horseback riding!!! Amazing! We did the beer and Cheetos ride along with a breakfast ride with a fast ride extension!! Both were great with amazing horses and food and wranglers!!!

Food!!! Amazing!!! Next year we will enjoy even more food on the ranch but everything we had was great!!!

Room!! Was also great!! Only thing to note is that there are not pool towels and you need to bring your room towels or robe. We didn’t know this and had to dry off in the sun.

Happy Hour!! What a fun time for an hour each day sharing experiences and memories on the ranch!!

I can’t say enough about WS Ranch!!! Truly a magical experience!!! 🐴❤️🐴❤️

The short version:||It's hard to rate since it varied so much. One day I was ready to leave early, and at the end I didn't want to go home.||The wranglers make or break a ride and some are amazing and others are ... significantly less so. Maybe it was because we were there in low season (perhaps this is when newbies come in?).||The non-riding activities are amazing though. It was fun to be able to try a variety of other things such as shooting and archery as well as a jeep tour to learn about the desert environment. Plus the food was excellent at every meal and the hospitality staff was top notch!||The long version:||Our enjoyment varied WIDELY from ride leader to ride leader. The 'fast' trail ride we did felt dangerous, the lead horse was already cantering by the time the leader asked if we were ready and then the 'lope' turned into careening down the path with little control because they let their horse run rather than keep it rated back to a lope/canter. I noted my saddle being tippy multiple times and was basically ignored. One wrangler rode up behind my horse so badly she bolted and I was swapped to a new horse mid-ride.||We stopped signing up for trail rides after that (honestly I was ready to go home but we had no where else to stay and flights weren't for several more days) we went to try cattle work - which was wonderful. The wranglers there were largely helpful and my new horse was lovely.||Many of the leaders/wranglers were very young and not all seemed to have that much horse experience. The 'fast ride' test where they see if you can be allowed to lope on the trails is a horsemanship joke, Watching new riders and tiny children try to pass it made me very concerned for them out on the trails knowing what we had already experienced. We heard several stories of folks in similar situation to us- they did one or two fast rides and got nervous.||Note: I am NOT a nervous rider, I am a riding instructor and trainer at home, but riding that 'fast trail' with those wranglers (we had 3 in our group - one actual leader, one trainee and one working a horse) made me nervous because they didn't seem to care how we were doing, chatting to themselves etc.||Once we stopped trail riding we had a great time however. A slow ride or two on the trails may have been fun, but for people familiar with riding safety and horsemanship many of the guides were lacking and it made it hard to enjoy.||I didn't get names of everyone and don't want to drag folks but our favorite wranglers were Terry and Dillon.||Tack could use a good cleaning. I know there's probably a lot of it, but I bet if they made it a guest activity people would sign up and help. The stirrups on my first horse's saddle were so stiff my ankle was sore after the ride and the stirrup fell off my mother's saddle as she started to mount (thankfully she is a good rider too, otherwise it could have ended quite badly—wranglers kind of laughed it off).||The horses were in generally nice condition, it was nice to watch them living out in a herd situation, and besides my first horse (who was either in heat or maybe back sore - and extra angry when she got run-up on) the horses were lovely to ride.||There were lots of riding options which was great. Though I would say the wranglers that let the horses run on the fast rides were dangerous. I hope that others actually keep it to a lope, but I was not willing to try again and find out.
