I booked this cabin based on the photos and it blew me away, but when I got there and saw it in person it was even better.

I paid for the firewood bundle for $7 but once it got dark we went to start a fire and it was empty. We even brought our own marshmallows and fire starters so that was a big disappointment on a cold and dry night. Would recommend bringing your own wood from town if you want a fire.

The room was as shown, when I checked in the heaters are set to max of 80 for some reason and took a while to cool off. Comfortable bedding. No privacy at all, you see all the people next to you and below you. Lots of hills to walk if you want to get to beach and depending where you stay, my cabin was fine, but anything past that would be hard.

As others have said, don’t count on the WiFi and service is iffy, if you need help, you’re on your own. The kitchen had no sponge or soap, the only paper towel is stored on the ground. The toilet is so small both of us commented on how hard it was to use. Great views of the water and sunset though.

Staid at the Hillcrest Cabin for one night, after spending the day exploring the nearby Salt Creek Recreation Area. ||The cabin was really nice, and well-maintained. The cabin is small, so I'm not sure I'd want to stay here with 4 people, though there is a lot of space to spread out outside, in warmer weather. Didn't use the mini kitchen, but it seemed well equipped. Even with the freezing temperatures, it was nice and warm inside. Wi-Fi was working. ||Communication with the people running the place was a bit hit or miss, but I got all the instructions I needed in an initial email (skipped the part where they asked me to send a copy of my driver's license by email)...||I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, when in the area!

Enjoyed our tiny cabin close to the water. In the morning with windows open you can hear the waves on the shore, and distant foghorns of the ships. Very relaxing and peaceful area to camp at. Very easy process to check in and out.

Awesome accommodations. Beautiful view. Very cozy. Lost one star because check in was a little bit confusing for me. I just haven't done it that way before. But next time I'll know .

Cabin is beautiful, instructions to cabin were clear. WiFi is spotty so don’t plan on having this be an internet work trip if that’s what you need. Perfect for sitting around and watching the ocean. Close to Olympic national park for hikes and not far from cape flattery for a day trip. Cabin kitchen had everything in it we needed to make all our meals.

Whiskey Creek Beach is magical! My husband and I slept in one of the a-frame shelters.We stayed warm and dry. So cozy lying in my sleeping bag looking up at the stars. Beautiful views. Grounds and facilities are clean and stocked. Exchanges with the owners were positive. We had cell service the entire time. Loved it. Already planning another trip back.

We stayed in an A-frame shelter on a bluff above the beach. All of the cabins, tent sites and shelters had their own charm, but we were thrilled with our choice (#16). We spent a whole day on the adjoining platform, surrounded by trees, reading and watching the ocean. ||It cost more than any campsite we've ever had before (and there were no showers) |but you're really paying for the location and it's definitely special. I'm really glad we went.

Wonderful little cabins on the beach. You can choose just how rustic you want to be. We will definitely be back. Falling asleep to the sound of the water right outside your window is something that definitely soothes the soul. Anyone who needs a disconnect should try this place out.
