We love the dine in all you can eat buffet. Good, old fashioned southern comfort food, salad bar, catfish, rolls, steak, veggies, desert, & sweet tea w/lemon! Whatever your in the mood for, it's like being at home on Sunday's after church, only better, no cleaning & great server's like Tabatha, (AWESOME!) and Terri (only there occasionally now.) Always, see people we know, nice, friendly, hometown (feel) country place in Rainbow City or Boaz.

We were pleasantly surprised that we found a Western Sizzlin that was still open and although we didn't know that it was buffet, everything we tried was fresh and well seasoned. The restaurant was so clean and the staff was GREAT! Thank you for a great experience. Oh, and the price was cheaper than fast food for sure!

Nice waitress but water taste like tap, sprite was accidentally put in my water, food was not good, and saw 2 roaches near salad bar. We were seated quickly but everything else just left something to be desired. I do not recommend.

The buffet was not up to par. The fried Chicken was overcooked and dried out. The Chicken Leg quarters were undercooked. We called the manager to the table to show him the leg quarters had bloody spots in it. The steak on the bar was good as well as the fried catfish. Our waitress did a great job. I asked for a Military Discount, and they said they do not give Military Discounts. That speaks volumes. Not the best experience.

This location of Western Sizzlin has certainly improved over the last year. The restaurant was clean, the buffet was well furnished and the food was good, and hot. The salad bar is one of my favorites, and everything was fresh, well chilled and abundant. The only downside for me is that all of the proteins, except the baked chicken were fried or covered in gravy or sauce. I would have liked to have seen a lower fat, healthy option available, but was satisfied with many vegetable options. I understand they provide what is most popular for the area. The server was attentive. She kept used plates cleared and drinks filled.

All the waitresses work exceptionally hard helping customers, clearing tables, keeping floor clean, etc. There's very little to say about most restaurants' atmospheres nowadays. People (other customers) just don't act the way they used to and don't have the manners and consideration for other people as in times past.

By far the worst food experience we have ever had! We were shocked there was even a western sizzle still open and as we drove by my mother law suggested it as she had fond memories. After being seated we realized they no longer prepared steaks and it was only a buffet. There was absolutely not one food item on the bar that my 7 year old would eat except the roll and he is not a picky eater. I did put a piece of the friend fish on his plate he tried it and spit it out. My husband got the mac and cheese which looked like gloop. He said it was un eatable. I tried the mashed potatoes (instant) and pork roast both were cold and flavorless. The squash and zucchini tasted like burnt oil. My mother in law tried to eat a salad but thought otherwise after witnessing children playing in the salad bar with their hands. She ate a roll and some corn. We left mad after spending over $60 for the 4 of us and are now praying we make it home while our stomachs are all rumbling!!! Pray for my car interior! Avoid this place i don't know how it is still in business!!!!
