This was a great spot for a dinner out. The restaurant was very clean and welcoming and the service was great. The food was very tasty and the portions were perfectly matched to the pricing. They do have the menu on QR code but if you like a paper menu, make sure to bring your reading glasses as the paper copies are small print. We will definitely return for a second visit and we were happy with West Pioneer Grill.

Good burger at the right price. I don't usually eat (or even coment on) French fries, but I could not stop eating these. They were great.
Try the Tabasco scorpion sauce they have on the table, but be prepared. It took me by surprise. It was way hotter than I expected it to be.
Got out of there for about $12 for cheeseburger, fries, and a 12oz shake.
Quiet, cute little place in downtown puyallup by the park. Friendly, helpful staff.
They've actually got a full bar as well.

The food was fantastic! The service was good. I’m giving a lower score because of the atmosphere. We were there on a Saturday in the late afternoon. When we got there, almost every table was full. As people finished their meals and left, none of the tables got cleared. It wasn’t that they were too busy to clear the tables because this was the lull between late lunch and the dinner rush. There were 2-3 employees standing around and talking. It actually stressed me out to see almost every table was dirty and wouldn’t be available immediately if someone came in. We’ll be back to try again though because the food was that good.

UPDATE 10/24 - After my third visit for work, this is still my favorite place to eat while in town!!! Customer service is slooooow, but I have found that the food is worth the wait. 2023 - Food was unbelievably good! I had The Desperado...very tasty!
Atmosphere was nice and clean. Music was a bit loud ... if your wanting to relax for lunch.
Server was attentive but unhappy.
Great overall experience.

Everything I would expect from a great little neighborhood grill! The outlaw burgers were amazing. Pepper sauce was perfect, not too spicy. The fries we're great, the house made fry sauce was delish, and the service was fast and friendly. Well done, West Pioneer. 🙂

This was our first time visiting West Pioneer Grill, and it was a huge disappointment. The service was so poor! With only about 12 tables in the establishment, we waited about 20 minutes at our table before we even saw a server to see if we had been given menus. There were two servers at the time we were there and no communication between them. Even after our order was taken another 20 minutes later, the other server stopped and asked if we had been given menus! Our burgers were good, and they have great fries. The cheesecake was terrible and tasted frozen as well as the mushy strawberries that were put on top. Couldn't understand why when we were in the heart of Puyallup and berry farms, they were not using fresh strawberries. After being at this restaurant an hour and forty minutes, there were still tables that had not been cleared of dirty dishes since we sat down. Not somewhere we will visit again.

Had a pretty good experience here been a couple times and it's definitely different each time some of the times we get great service food is on point and everything is good Other times the food is not so good and it's not so great on the service either I guess it's give and take when you come here but the good news is they have a deal where you can get a milkshake and fries and a burger and I think it's all around like $12.99 or 10.99 something like that either way it's a good deal for what you get for your money.

We have gone to this place twice in the last two weeks with large groups first was a mommy son group for the mom and son dance. The second was a dad and daughter group for the dad and daughter dance. They were so accommodating so amazing. The food was great the Atmosphere was awesome, and the servers were the best. We really appreciated making those days special for us. Thank you for all your guys help.
