Sam & Gayle really went out of their way to make our wedding day perfect! They are so caring and helpful with anything you need for your big day. The venue is gorgeous and requires very little decoration to make it perfect. Our wedding was in November and we were blessed to be able to have it outside. The view at West Fork is beautiful any time of the year but it was especially beautiful for our late Fall wedding. I highly recommend this venue for your wedding or any other special event.

It is a joy to share a review of West Fork Events today as a wedding photographer. I had the honor of capturing a wedding day here in 2021 and hope to go back to capture many more couples! It's always a relief to show up to a venue where the owners truly care about the couple and their experience on their wedding day, and the owners at West Fork Events really do! The experience is made even better for a photographer because the property is truly stunning! We had our 30th Wedding Anniversary and Vow Renewal Celebration at West Fork Events . This venue is Rustic but very beautiful and elegant as well as comfortable. The weather was gorgeous so we were able to have our Renewal on the outside deck space which made it so simple for our guests to step back in after the Vow renewal.
The AC was a plus as the temperature was 75 degrees and sunny ! The owners Sam and Gayle were friendly, and helpful. Quick to assist with our requests and needs . (Even getting a boat on the pond for photos) the amenities are so convenient. Our caterer was able to use kitchen facilities while it made it simple and easy for set up.and clean up.Everythjng leading up to and on our special celebration was perfect !
I'would highly recommend this venue for Weddings ,birthday parties or any other events.

My wedding in October was at West Fork Events. While my family made my wedding beautiful, they faced many challenges with the venue owner and the venue itself. The venue was not completed as communicated when we committed to it, such as unfinished areas (drywall behind bar) and insufficient outdoor lighting (no deck lights). There were not enough pews for the guests, even though they knew how many guests were attending. We also requested barrels to be placed at the last pews, and they were not in position when we arrived. Both the men's and women's bathrooms backed up several times during the reception. There were no tools to fix the kitchen sink plumbing issue. Additionally, the kitchen is inadequate for food prep and warm up, as well as didn't have an ice machine (ice has to be bought 20 min away). The beverages had to be iced in coolers. The venue didn't provide any plates, silver, glasses, etc. We brought in chairs because the venue's are black metal (ugly for a wedding). When we were setting up, my grandmother asked where to put trash, and the owner's response was "you brought it, you figure it out." At no time did the owner review the contract with us or tell us that we had to vacate the venue by midnight the night of the reception. It also was not clear in the contract. The owner told my mother at the reception at 10 p.m. that we had to be out by midnight because we didn't negotiate an extension to the morning. The owner really upset my mother and ruined the reception for her. We paid an incremental amount to get an extension to 12 noon the next day. There were a lot of things the owner didn't tell as well, such as you have to bring your own trash bags. The venue owner was very accommodating when we first met, as well as on follow up visits. However, he made my family and waitstaff very uncomfortable at the reception because he would walk around and just stare with his arms folded. In hindsight, I should have selected another venue, especially one without all of the logistical problems to boot.

I was a Groom at a October Wedding, and during the time up to the wedding everything ran very smoothly with the venue owners. They seemed to be very accommodating, it wasn’t until after the wedding was over that I learned some of the issues that I didn’t see the day of.
First issue; We had a plan to originally have around 200 ish people, and with corona we had to slim the number down and it landed about 125. This turned out to be a good thing because the venue originally stated it could hold 250 but by the way it looked with 125 it could of held only 150 people with a dance floor.
Second issue; Not enough pews for the outdoor ceremony. We had about 20-30 people standing at the back. The venue owners knew how many guest we were having due to the fact we were staying within the covid restrictions.
Third issue; The people (my new larger family) who were in charge of the catering and decorating had some professional issues with the venue owners. The venue owner did not seem to have the tools around the barn to fix some of the backing up issues in the kitchen during the cooking process, along with making it a very unpleasant night for my new mother-in-law who was also head of the catering. From my knowledge this was in the form of the venue’s owner attitude, and actions towards her. As well as being loud over their being a puddle of water behind the bar when there was no mop there to clean it up.
I am someone who doesn’t do reviews. I may have one or two in my 28 years of life, although unless issues are fixed I didn’t want other people to have some of these same issues. Thanks for reading.

The owners at West fork are absolutely amazing! They are very helpful and courteous. Our wedding day was beautiful our guests were all shocked at how nice the venue was. I definitely recommend this venue!
