This is specifically for the guy on the phone working last night. So when there's a snow storm that's left people stranded and people need a place to stay, here's what you're never going to ever do again. First of all, get on the phone and waste a solid three minutes of our time asking questions like "is this business or pleasure". We're stranded locals and we're already upset. Youre takong our eyes off the snow caked road. No this is not pleasure. Also asking several times "well are you actually going to book the room" before giving us a price quote? Seriously? Like he asked at least 4 times, have QA look the call up. So you just turned away california residents that frequent the 299 weekly in the middle of a storm because of your pompous front desk boy. And guess what? That was so bad, that I will absolutely never be staying with you. We have motel trinity and 49er. Seriously whoever is at that front desk, I'd write them up on final warning. Is that SERIOUSLY how he was trained to run phones and sales? Best Western, no. Move out of this town if no one can do their job right. There's other inns.

We had been kind of looking forward to staying here for a couple of years, since we started driving back and forth from Arcata to Redding to see my pulmonologist. The temperature was 95° outside, so (being from Arcata) we were ready for air-conditioning. |The "cold air blower" is positioned on the wall parallel to the beds, therefore blowing cold air directly onto the head of the beds. My husband laid down on the bed closest to the door, and was blasted with cold air sent directly to his head, which isn't helpful. |So I pulled one of the pink easy chairs (which had food crumbs underneath, because the chairs weren't moved during the vacuuming process) over to block the blast, but so the air could still circulate. After about 10 minutes, he asked me to move the chair immediately, because he could SMELL the chair! |So, we moved to other bed, further from the blaster, and that was better. In the meantime, I had been walking around for an hour barefoot, which is par for me. I was a bit taken aback, when I looked at the bottoms of my feet, they were dark brown with grime. Obviously, after I took a shower, slippers on at all times! |The television didn't work; my husband had to fix it to work. The mattress is nice and on the firm side, which we like, and the water pressure in the shower was great! The lady at the front desk was very friendly and polite.|Just letting y'all know!

AC was broken and it was 110 degrees outside! They moved us to another room. They have old window AC units that are in desperate need of an upgrade. The filter was dirty and it barley worked in the second room they moved us to which was their Suite with a jacuzzi. Windows are screwed close so we couldn't even get fresh air. We had to fill the jacuzzi tub with ice and cold water to cool off from the extreme heat! The room was horrible and smelled like mold. The rooms have original beds, bedding, curtains and furniture from 1990. This place is yucky! We were booked for two nights but couldn't wait for the first night to pass so we could check out and find another place to stay!

Absolutely worst place to stay in Weaverville. They will blame you for broken and damaged items even though you have picture evidence of it being there before your stay then the front office lady will call you crazy for confronting them about it and put you on a do not rent list. Ac doesn't work.no cold water even in the toilet was hot water. Tweeks rummaging around all through the night never got any good rest and felt very unsafe. (Stayed with my 8 year old daughter) they will acuse you of smoking in their rooms when you don't even smoke. Room service people taking videos and pictures of your belongings and entertaining your room when you're not there and even have the do not disturb sign on the door. I definitely don't recommend this place at all. And will be filing a police report against them.

A quaint but very warm and enjoyable hotel. The room was clean and quiet.|My friend had stayed there when in his 20s and he liked it then and even more so this time. Nearby restaurants were available for meals at reasonable prices. It is dog friendly just keep it on a leash.

Was NOT a good experience
The first room we went in the toilet gasket was broke and water went everywhere, I folded back the blankets to hair on bed.
They moved us to another room and the remote for the TV would not go on and the switch for lamp was gone and no coffee maker.
The third room No shampoo or conditioner
Hair all over pillow case and sheets, the floor in the corner to left and right of us had cob webs and dirt all over base boards and the box spring was filthy with dirt.
I spoke with the girl who said she would leave a note for owner so when I checked out to stop by front desk and talk to them. My granddaughter and I stopped by no owner just a worker so I explained the situation she said no refund no discount they will try better and she will let owner know. How disappointing.

We were on vacation and my friend had grown up in this area, so he suggested that we stay that night as we had been driving all day. (Sept 19-20) Yes, it is an old property and some things do have problems as they age. However, we did not have any problems and just the opposite of some reviews from last year we found the room to have no problems. The furnishings were in great shape, well-coordinated and the room was clean. Plenty of coffee, a TV, refrigerator & microwave. There were extra towels in the bathroom, and it had been updated. I would stay at this hotel again without any hesitation.
