This was our first ever B&B experience, and it was absolutely wonderful! Rachael & Jonathan are fabulous hosts and each and every detail in the house is completely thought out! We arrived to the cutest sign with our names displayed and very easy check in instructions. Our room had homemade brownies, wine and flowers ready for our stay- truly the BEST! Our room (Shore Room) was extremely comfy and had gorgeous views of the gardens. Not to mention the delicious breakfast each morning AND picnic we shared that Rachael made for us. We cannot wait to stay here again when we are out visiting family, thank you for everything Rachael! 🙂

We stayed at Waypoint House this past week during the height of Virginia's spring. Upon arrival we sat in the Adirondack chairs in the gorgeous back garden with our dog, Maisie, and enjoyed the tulips, redbuds and daffodils in full bloom while soaking up the late afternoon sun. Rachael's welcome video gave us confidence; everything was perfectly organized and ready for us for self-checkin. The room was delightful, the huge bathtub irresistible, and breakfast the next morning amazing. Rachael even accommodated my gluten free diet with panache; she served caramelized onion and cheese frittatas with a crispy potato crust. Also rich local coffee and a bowl of delicious fresh fruit. Maisie was not only welcomed, but appreciated, and Rachael and Jonathan keep their kitties tucked away when dogs are in residence. We're leaving a five star review. You can't go wrong! (Plus the town of Berryville is quaint and invites exploration; all within easy walking distance of Waypoint House.)

Booked just a few days before so that husband could day hike nearby while I was at a day retreat in town. Rachel greeted us both personally. Accommodations were comfortable, spacious and beautiful. The whole house felt very welcoming. ||We especially enjoyed the working fireplace and warm welcome brownie in our room. Rachel then cooked one of the absolute best breakfasts (made to order) I have ever eaten in my entire life! We caught a Celtic concert at the nearby Barns of RoseHill and the next day took in Harpers Ferry about 30 minutes away. ||Will definitely return.

Rachel is the hostess and makes you feel welcome by adding little touches to your room. Her brownies that await you are yummy and the breakfasts are even better. The rooms are all comfortable and have everything you need. The house has been remodeled with updates yet keeping the charm that it once and still has.

We had a wonderful overnight stay at the Waypoint with Rachel. We were in the Traveler's' Retreat which was one of the most beautiful rooms we have stayed in. The soaking tub was the perfect way to relax on our overnight stay. Rachel's breakfast was delicious. She was incredibly friendly and helped us plan our next trip to the area. We will definitely return!

Everything about this place is elegant, welcoming, and simply a wonderful place to lay your head. I stayed in the Traveler's Retreat, and I could have holed up in that room for days. The whole room and bathroom suite was well-appointed and cozy. The morning breakfast was delicious and Rachael's attention to detail was evident in the entire meal.

We were royally welcome by a sign on the porch with our names and home-made cocoa brownies in our meticulously clean bedroom. The room was fitted with all sorts of amenities such as TV, individually adjusted bed heating pads, and (for an extra charge) a bottle of wine from a nearby winery and two glasses. The spanking clean en suite bathroom was fitted with a variety of fluffy towels and amenities. The dining room provides around-the-clock coffee and soft drinks service, and even a refrigerator available for use by the guests. The breakfast (quiche, sliced potatoes, fruit) was signature high quality ingredients and preparation. Our most gracious hostess, Rachael, even prepared a log fire in the fireplace for our party of four to enjoy in the evening. This was our SIXTH time at this home!

We had a wonderful stay at Waypoint House! Everything was just perfect.... our room was spotless and comfortable. We had everything we needed. Check in was a breeze with the clear and helpful instructions we received the day before. ||The breakfasts were delicious and we so appreciated Rachael accommodating my vegan request, and our takeaway breakfasts on our early departure day. There was always water, soda, coffee & tea available as well.||Location was perfect for exploring, Harpers Ferry, Gettysburg and the many winery's and vineyards in the area. When visiting the area in the future we will surely return to stay in this gem!
