Waves of fun it is exactly that. One of the things that is bad the slides are shut down pretty much for good as I hear it. And around the edges of the pool have some sand paint around it but it is still too slick. Be careful it is a great place to swim love the waves and the inner tubes they are a little big

We went on a Wednesday it was hot and crowded. The parking lot was completely full and the traffic was a bit congested getting there. Once we finally got parked and made our way inside to pay we got our cooler checked Wich is understandable then we found a place to set in the grass (bring ur own chairs) the kids wanted floats so we went to rent them and was told there wasn’t anymore wen the worker was setting on one and there was several laying around we just said ok. Went bak later to get one after a few ppl turned some in then find out I gotta walk all the way around front to pay for it so I did then get bak to find out she rented them to other ppl. But that’s life. The kids had a blast the water was way to cold for me and way to crowded. We did get to bring our lil dog and he loved it too!

I have been coming to this pool on and off for the past 15-16 years, and it’s always been a staple in Summers in Hurricane/Teays Valley. Came today for the first time in probably 10 years and it was a blast! Missing those slides, but it’s probably for the better they’re closed. A BIG request and recommendation is MUSIC. One thing i loved about this place was the radio. Made pool checks and quieter moments at the pool much more enjoyable. I know y’all got loudspeakers back there :p Otherwise a great experience.

I have been coming here since I was a kid. There has been a lot of changes here especially since the remodel. The slides are down and barricaded off and from the looks of them it’s a good thing. Just nasty looking and needs some serious work of upgrades (most likely in the works with the barricade around it). I will hopefully be back soon for more photos but the pool was very nice, new liner that was easy on your feet. I do however suggest them figure a way for smaller kids to be able to utilize the floats and you cannot bring outside floats in. I had 3 kids there with me from 9-5 years old so that was a bit of a challenge maintaining that but we managed. Customer service was nice, the bees was awful though, they’re literally everywhere.

This place was amazing when I was a kid. Took my kids today and it was just heartbreaking. The concession stand is very, very skimpy and the only staff member I spoke to that wasn't rude as hell was a lifeguard that, thankfully, jumped in and pulled my little boy into shallower waters when the waves were going off. I DO appreciate that!

Without the slides, it's just any other community pool. We won't be returning.

We had fun at Waves of Fun. Some of the waves were really big and strong, but at times, it was less. The pool gets really crowded when the waves start. There were not many floats available for rent the day we went. I will go again.

Waves are great. Not many lounge chairs. Bring towel incase. Too many rules for the price. Can't bring a cooler, bags must be checked, and I like my privacy. The rules list is just obnoxious. Not many other options in the areas, so we return on occasion. Drive to Boone county to water ways instead.

Love this place!! We have so much fun here & the staff and lifeguards are really nice. They have a lot of life guards too! 5 stars.
