My wife and I stayed at the country nook this past weekend and it was truly magical. Molly and her family are generous hosts, providing everything you could need for a getaway! The farm was gorgeous, the bed comfortable, and the shower warm in this chilly weather. We loved being greeted by Sully and Mia every morning and stargazing at night. So worth staying here if you're coming to Deep Creek for winter sports! 💖

Waters run guest house and suite and was exceptional! The room was extremely clean and had everything we needed. Our two boys loved the farm dogs sully and Mia. This was a great place to unwind after a fun day on the lake which is just a quick 20 minute drive.

This place is absolutely beautiful. If you are planning a getaway and want to be completely unplugged from daily stress then this place definitely offers the perfect environment to recharge and relax. The service is impressive, Sadie is an exceptional host.
We ordered for breakfast quiche, loaf of bread and oatmeal cookies. It was absolutely delicious. We followed the recommendations for local restaurants and had a good experience as well.
Next time you start to plan your relaxing vacation, book this piece of heaven on earth.

Waters run suite was perfect for our family of 3. The apartment was so clean! We loved the farm sophisticated decor and the full kitchen. We added breakfast and oh my goodness! Fresh fruits and juices (pressed orange AND apple), vegetarian quiche (per our request), apple crisp to die for and yogurts parfaits with blueberries! We had so much food and had leftovers! Sadie is very responsive and helpful. The animals on the farm (a St Bernard and a cat) are so friendly. Our son loved petting them! We spent 3 days skiing at wisp only 25 minutes from the farm and we will be back! You will find nothing comparable to this stay around the ski resort. I advise you to book on Sadie's own website to get the best deal and avoid the middle man fee. Plus, you get can adds-ons from her directly.

When I think of this place, I feel a sort of calm come over me. If you’re looking to party, bar hop or foodie scene, this is not the place for you. But if you want to be surrounded with nature and just get away from it all, if you live in the city, this is ABSOLUTELY, the place for you! I wish I could keep this place a secret and be able to book anytime I need just some silence and the sounds of nature, but the world must know about it. It’s is not a big place and it is in a working farm. Waters run has a suite and a small guest house available. On our date of visit we book at the last moment and both were available. We happened to find it by chance and hadn’t even realized that it is located in western MD as we were aiming for PA. I’m so glad we booked as it was the perfect place for us. Both the suite and the house were available and the price difference was minute enough that we splurge a bit and went with the guest house which boast a full kitchen, fully equipped. Although we didn’t use it much, it was nice to have the extra space. Both the suite and the guest house are attached to the main house which. Is occupied by the owner’s father. And I’ll repeat again IT’S A WORKING FARM!! So be prepared to hear animal noises and a degree of noise in the morning. I suggest bringing earplugs if you don’t like being waken up at the crack of down. We don’t travel without them. The night sky was amazing .. the fresh air great. The resident barn cat super friendly and the house dog, a St Bernard named Sully were a pleasure. Based on the notes left in the guest book from previous visitors, everyone seems to have enjoy this farm and the company of the animals. The guesthouse was tastefully decorated farm chic and very spacious for 2 people. The fire pit was great for roasting some hotdogs and marshmallows while we watched the night sky and just enjoyed the serenity of the country side. We would love to come back soon.

This is our second stay here! We had uncooperative weather this time around! We love the cozy atmosphere and quaint farm! There are a few animals on the farm, Ore, the black dog, joined me on a 3 mile run around the farm. This is close to Deep Creek! We ordered the breakfast this time! Oooooo my! Apple crisp, apple muffins, farm fresh eggs, and egg, sausage, and pepper quiche! Yummy! I highly recommend staying here!

My wife and I had a lovely 2 night stay at Waters Run Guest House & Suite B&B. Beth and her friendly dogs greeted us and were generous with their time, showing us around the property and giving suggestions on local attractions. We stayed in the guest suite which opened onto a patio where we enjoyed our breakfasts. Beth prepares them ahead of time and placed them in our refrigerator with reheating directions so that we could eat at our leisure. When we made our reservations she checked to see if we had any dietary preferences or restrictions, which I thought was very thoughtful. I emailed a day before we arrived to see if they could have ice cream waiting for us a surprise for my wife, and I was very happy that they were able to do so. The B&B is a few miles from Deep Creek Lake, but part of why we go to DCL is ‘to get away from it all,’ and having stayed in town on prior visits was not nearly as relaxing as waking up in the country. The room was nicely appointed and the surrounding gardens are lovely. In fact, when I was admiring Beth’s green thumb she offered to send some of her plants home with us. I was surprised at her generosity, and amazed at how many she gave us. She definitely went above & beyond in making us feel welcome. I would definitely recommend Waters Run to anyone who enjoys the sights and sounds of nature in an unhurried, comfortable setting.

We stayed in the queen bed room that's pictured. It was a beautiful two day stay. We really enjoyed the patio right outside our room, eating on the patio every meal we ate there. The little pond with the bullfrog was delightful. There were hummingbirds and other birds in the quince bush next to us.||||The soaps they provided for the shower were wonderful. Shower and bathroom were sufficient. ||||As advertised, there was no cell phone service, but there was also no internet either. We could not get any of our devices to connect to their WiFi access points. ||||Shortly after we got there while walking around the farm we had a delightful and informative conversation with Don. He lives there and had all his life so far, and had many tips for good places to hike and sites to see. ||||We'd stay here again when we're in the area
