An absolutely gorgeous estate! The grounds are immaculate and full of seasonal flowers. The rooms were lovely, and Mark, Donna, Colleen, Bob, and Christina could not have been nicer or more accommodating. We rented all of the rooms and the carriage house during a nearby wedding, and everyone loved it there! Clean, well appointed rooms and public spaces and fabulous breakfasteach day. We hated to leave for family events elsewhere! So peaceful. This will be our go-to spot for future trips to the area.

Wedding officiant here who visited the location to marry a couple. The outdoor area was clean and so pretty. Parking was a bit difficult to find. There were ponies on site so that was cool to see. Very romantic and secluded spot.

I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful our time at the Woodland Estate was. My partner, friend, and I were in town for a wedding, and we shocked to find such a gem only 30 minutes away from Tacoma. Evey thing about our stay was exceptional, from the delicious, homemade breakfasts that we had every morning to the clean and comfortable beds to the beautiful grounds complete with animals, gardens, and a short trail. We stayed in the carriage house which contained a well-appointed kitchen, Murphy bed, hot tub, deck, and laundry room in addition to the expected usual amenities. It was perfect for the weekend, but we could just as easily have spent a very pleasant week there as well! One of the nicest places that I have ever stayed, we look forward to returning in the future!

Perfect retreat. We spent the past few nights in the carriage house and it was absolutely perfect. The cottage is well equipped, tons of extra blankets and towels are available if needed, the master bed and murphy bed were both comfortable. The estate is far enough from busy roads to be peaceful, just a minutes away you can find miles of walking trails. We'd expected to spend 2 days hiking but the estate is so restful we ended up spending an entire day chillaxin', reading on the patio, wandering the garden paths, and petting the goats and mini horses. We will definitely be back again. This would be a beautiful location for an intimate wedding, incredibly picturesque.

Now known as Washington Woodland Estate, this place is an incredible find for anyone visiting the Gig Harbor area. Peaceful, gorgeous grounds, accommodating hosts, clean, beautiful rooms, great breakfast. Worth the short drive from the downtown area. Now that we've found it, we will not stay anywhere else!

This place is wonderful; I loved it immediately. It's thoughtfully decorated (there are bears to make you smile all over the place), comfortable, and really clean. The grounds are gorgeous--gardens everywhere--and peaceful. It's secluded, but really not far from Gig Harbor.

The amenities are great: private bathrooms, a communal microwave and refrigerator, tea and coffee, and sweets. They have cards and other games. Their breakfast is delicious.

Loved, loved, loved this B&B. Our room was very spacious, clean and quiet (until the next morning when the room next door turned on their television. We could follow along no problem). The grounds are beautiful. This place is tucked back in a wooded area with lush greenery, blooming flowers and variegated ground cover. Our breakfast was delicious. Warm cornbread muffins, quiche and sausage followed by a small bowl of fruit with fresh whipped cream. Definitely coming back for another stay here.

Washington Woodland estate is amazing. I went on an over night stay years ago and I couldn't help but book my parents a stay as a Christmas Gift for this upcoming Valentines Day. The scenery is so relaxing. Very accommodating hosts and office Manager Christina has been extremely helpful. Breakfast is very good and a fun way to meet the accompanied guests. The grounds are beautiful and very well kept. 10/10 reccomend. If you're a fan of B&B's do not pass this one up!
