My husband and I were visiting from Canada two weeks ago and went to the Wash House. Online reviews of the food were accurate, our meals were very good. We were seated in the area close to the reception where tables for two were situated. The area was small and we were sitting next to a hanging window pane with glass panes that were cracked and several were missing. The table on the other side was of the divider was literally one foot away from us. We could not hear each other and requested to be moved to the other side of the aisle. The server (older male) reluctantly moved us and made us feel that we'd really imposed on him for asking.
For desert I ordered the chocolate pecan pie which was not made in house, it had a pre-made crust and was very store bought tasting.
Overall, the atmosphere was shabby but the food was good.

Went for our anniversary and was not disappointed. Really nice location, the property is part of the draw as it is well manicured and you get the feeling your in for a good time before you even get through the doors.

The lighting is dark and decor is dark wood and intimate.

We ordered the cobia tostadas for an appetizer and they were very tasty, fish cut in chunks well seasoned with fresh herbs and tomatoes.

The wife ordered the 8oz fillet(comes medium rare)and it came with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. Asparagus was cooked so it still had some snap to them. She was very happy with whole meal.
I got the chateaubriand (cooked medium rare) same tasty asparagus and garlic mash but came with a sauce which complimented the meat very nicely.
Definitely a place to take some of your special guests. Great experience.

Our family of 3 enjoyed our dinner at the wash house. This is our second time dining here and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We made a reservation at 7:15 and we sat immediately upon arrival. Our service was prompt and courteous. We ordered the wedge salad and Caesar to start, unfortunately they were out of the Caesar, not sure how that happens. The wedge and our entrees were delicious.

Our whole anniversary experience at the Wash House Restaurant was extraordinary! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a cheerful person who just so happened to be our server. She was fabulous throughout the entire meal. Unfortunately, I’m terrible at names, but she was a taller woman who had two daughters (1 & 7). She was phenomenal on telling us about desserts as she actually sold us on getting the Key Lime Bread Pudding. Exquisite!

One of my favorite parts was being greeted by the amazingly talented Toby Law! He and the rest of the chefs at Wash House Restaurant create the most delicious food! We got the Chateaubriand and the Pork Shank. Everything from the meat to the vegetables were magnificent.

Don’t forget about the beef roll appetizers and the desserts! I can’t recommend this place enough!

I visited The Wash House for the first time this evening with a friend. I was greeted immediately by what I assumed is management and shown to my reserved table. Jessie was our server and proved us with exceptional service. She was incredibly knowledgeable of the menu and also personable, kind and efficient! Amongst her recommendations I had the Filet and the Key Lime Bread Pudding, both of which exceed my expectations. The atmosphere was comfortable, sophisticated and unique which was only made better each time Jessie graced our table. Will absolutely be back and ask for Jessie everytime!

This place fires on all cylinders, as soon as you walk in you're hit with a feeling of home. The ambiance of this place is very down to earth, everything about our visit was awesome, the service, the food, this place just gets it right. From cocktail drinks which were delightful, she had a French 75 and I the Sazerac, down to the wine we had with our main dishes, she had the 8 oz filet Oscar style, and I had the grilled Halibut that was melt in your mouth like butter. And the deserts were just divine. I had the Key lime bread pudding and she had the creme brulee. Both equally good but if there was one thing the crust on the creme brulee could of been a bit thicker. This place needs to be on your list. Happy we got to try it and will be back

Our first time eating here. We had their special-wahoo, potato wedges and brussel sprouts. Our dinner came out very shortly after we ordered. Like within 5 minutes of ordering. The fish was so dry, it was what one would imagine the texture of fish jerky would feel like, and it had no taste. The potato wedges were dry completely through. It was such a disappointment. We won't be back.

Food and drinks were delicious. I definitely recommend the crab cakes for an appetizer. They were perfect. Service was great. Price was great. I look forward to eating here again.
