I'm not sure where else to leave this review but the coolest part of Wahkiakum is the elevated dock and buildings over the Columbia River. They are in grave disrepair and the best view is from the city dock or the 409 bridge. There are signs posting much of this as private property. Which is unfortunate, as it is stunning. Wish they would rehab this area enough to make it tourist friendly.

Great place to get information on Waikiakum County, Cathlamet and Puget Island. Alysse is always smiling and a pleasure to work with.

Stop in get your Cathlamet map then maybe go across the street to Patty's for a delicious root beer float. Root beer produced at the Brewery down the street.
