Vintners Resort definitely gives wine country vibes. We stayed in the vineyard fireplace king room which was really spacious and clean, offering beautiful views of the vineyard. The fireplace was electric and didnโ€™t radiate off heat but more just blew hot air at you which was a little disappointing. This hotel doesnโ€™t offer a complimentary continental breakfast like others (which is highly recommended if you plan to go wine tasting all day) but does offer room service which is a little pricey. With that being said the food at Vintners is worth the price. There is also a restaurant on property which again is a bit pricey but worth it. The bar/lounge in the restaurant does offer a happy hour which was great. This hotel is also located a little further from some of the vineyards we visited but definitely gave the wine country feels we were looking for. Overall this is a great hotel for couples looking for a romantic getaway at the higher end of a budget. I personally would not stay here with my kids but there is a pool making it a little more family friendly. There is a spa in the resort as well which I would recommend you book prior to your stay as it was booked for our visit so we did not get to enjoy it.

Very large rooms with fireplace and vineyard view. Impeccably clean.

There is not much contact with staff as you enter your rooms from outdoor corridors.

Grounds are beautifully kept.
The pool area looked nice, but due to construction, it was not open. We will stay again.

The only downside for us was the breakfast availability. We stayed 4 nights, and there is not a special price for hotel guests.

The hotel was in a convenient location for us to visit Wineries in Dry Creek and Alexander Valley. The hotel consists of spread out little buildings with nice gardens and a wine country feel. We stayed in a new building and it was very nice, with a huge bathroom and very comfortable bed. Nice products, a free half bottle of wine and some other beverages provided. While we were there, so pool and hot tub were closed for renovation as were some other areas, which was disappointing. I guess there is a hot tub indoors that you have to book. Also, the resort is very close to the freeway and it's audible when outdoors. The room was very quiet. We ate at the John Ash & Co restaurant which was delicious. We sat in an (enclosed outdoor) area that was a little cold, despite a heater. The staff was very nice and I highly recommend the Truffle Gnocchi. Breakfast was below average and the $8 tiny cappuccino and single shot latte seemed outrages. I got a "basked" of pastries for $13 that had 5 miniature pastries. While we enjoyed our stay, we likely won't be back. We felt the resort lacked athmosphere.

It's a beautiful resort even in pouring down rain. We looked out on the vineyard. It rained while we were there but did have one nice day to sit on the deck and drink wine. It is very close to wineries and Headelsburg, a charming town. The bar has happy hour every day and the breakfast was great.

Our experience was incredible. The people working here are personable and helpful. The grounds are beautiful. The fitness center was great too. The rooms had small details like a vanity area to do makeup, wine and water in the fridge, coffee and creamers. The views are beautiful too. Lastly, the proximity to local wineries is helpful. Youโ€™re close to everything.

I was very pleased with the call ahead of my arrival! I explained that I was using crutches after surgery and the gentleman upgraded my reservation to a suite since there are no elevators on property and the room I booked would have been upstairs. This was stellar and I'm so appreciative! Five star service right there!|We arrived early at 3pm (I had requested 4pm) and our room wasn't ready until 5pm. Not so stellar.|We had an unfortunate event of two blackberry drinks spilling on my brother-in-law at dinner (the server was horrified and handled himself professionally.) The GM came by, apologized, said he wanted to comp drinks or dessert in addition to cleaning the jacket. He did not comp drinks or dessert (at least not on the bill we signed.) Not necessary but also not stellar.|When we checked out, the young gentleman (who said he was less that a week on the job) told me that he would send the folio as soon as a manager checked out a credit of ~$40. I wonder if this is a credit that was promised to us at dinner after the blackberry incident. Don't know because I still have not received my final bill. I tried using the Contact Us link on the website but it keeps throwing errors. |I really want to love this place! The prices are high and I would expect a higher level of service. I'm guessing they'll get there, but they were off their game this weekend.

Hotel under construction when we went, would not have booked had we knew that, pool was shut down and amenities were non existent. Had 3 separate bad interactions with staff, they never followed up on a call about the spa's sound therapy, they couldn't provide tea in the morning for my girlfriend and during check out the staff member wouldn't get off the phone or even talk to us. Room was good overall but at these prices staff and amenities should be top notch and the weren't. Food and beverage at John Ash restaurant were very underwhelming.

We booked this place thought it would be a quiet place to relax, but our experience was quite disappointing. Highway noise is audible anywhere whenever outside - not super high but definitely is there that make it uninviting to enjoy the outdoor. The rooms are situated in two story buildings like condos building, they are large with updated bathroom an electric fireplace. However we were surprised to hear very loud sound when the room nextdoor was using shower or tub. When the room on the other side was occupied, we started to heard the sound of their TV. Don't think the people were lound, but rather the walls have very little insulation. The mattresses are sitting on the floor because there is no bed except a headboard that's decorated on the wall. The John Ash restaurant onsite was also disappointing: the seafood dish was marginal in freshness and flavor. The supposed freshly squeezed OJ tasted more like from a store brought product or perhaps the oranges were old. The croissant has the shape and taste of the ones from Costco. The waiters never checked or asked how the dishes tasted. In addition, my husband got food poisoning from the side order of eggs - we knew the egg was the cause because that's the only thing he had that I didn't on that day. We told the hotel about the egg incident at checkout and hoped they would take it seriously. High price and under delivery - we checked out earlier and don't think we would return here.
