I have been staying at The View for several years now as I have had several children in college in Athens. This beautiful, homey B&B is the perfect place to stay. The Innkeeper, Elizabeth, is a wonderful hostess and from my first visit there I felt welcomed and very much at home. The View is definitely very clean, comfortable, and affordable and I wouldn't stay anywhere else! And I am still thinking about the delicious breakfast that I had there this past Sunday morning!

I recently visited Athens to care for my sick college age daughter, and this was a great find! We stayed in the Cherry room and it has a great view of the mountains and a deck, private bath and a sitting area. We enjoyed a fantastic homemade breakfast in the morning at sunrise. It was very inexpensive. I will definitely stay here again!

This is a B & B. They have four rooms (I think) to rent. Lady that runs this place is very nice and helpful. Most of the furniture is antiques, and there are some very nice pieces. The beds are super comfy. On weekends she will serve a hot breakfast of just about anything you want. Weekdays it is self service (she is a teacher), but the selection is really great. Dinning room table is set in front of a large bay window over looking a valley. There are many windows and a large deck all with great views. Thus the name.
