We just used Hells Canyon Resort for my daughters June 1st wedding. It was the perfect setting and Heidi and Josh made sure that the entire day was perfect down to the last detail. They were great at listening to what we wanted and doing everything to ensure that the day was as perfect as we had hoped. Heidi's planning and suggestions made it possible for me as the mother of the bride to relax and enjoy the day knowing that everything was being taken care of. Thank you Heidi and Josh for making this wedding a day that we will never forget. The whole experience was amazing.

I really just want everyone to know what a wonderful place this is to stay. Heidi and Josh who are the manager's for Victor and Dawna, really made us feel welcome and comfortable. We stayed in the lodge up the hill from the main lodge, which great because we had the whole house to ourselves. There is a patio out front to watch the sun rise where Heidi brought us breakfast( all inclusive means everything, they even brought the meals to us!) We swam and relaxed in the sun the first day, the second day Heidi had made arrangements for the Snake River Adventure Jet Boat tour to pick us up on the beach right in front of the lodge ( How awesome was that! We didn't have to drive the hour into town at 6 am, we could have a relaxing breakfast, then stroll down to the beach) Gerald is diabetic so Heidi tailored the meals to his requirments which is beyond good customer service to me, that is great customer service. Thank you both for a great start to this road trip adventure!

Let's say you get a burr in your saddle and decide to drive as far as you can towards the SE tip of Washington. If you do, you'll find Hells Canyon Resort near the end of this journey! This beautiful lodge/resort is right on the Snake River, just a few hundred yards away from the mouth of the Grande Ronde River. ||||It's a great location for fishing and that is what brought us here. My wife, two kids and I went out on a guided trip and fished in a boat on the Snake River right in front of the lodge. In just five hours we caught a 15 lb Chinook Salmon, three beautiful steelhead running four to five pounds in size and a nice smallmouth bass. My son also hooked and lost another big Chinook because his dear old dad (your contributer here) set the drag too tight on the reel! ||||This is beautiful country located at the mouth of Hells Canyon. If you get a chance, take a jet boat tour (or event a helicopter tour) from the resort upstream to Hells Canyon Dam. Hells Canyon is North America's deepest gorge and is steeped not only in wildlife and beauty, but also all sorts of interesting history the jet boat skippers will share with you.||||The resort was fantastic! Resort managers Heidi and Josh worked their tails off during our stay and fed us three great meals a day. If you get a chance, ask Josh to cook up some beef ribs. They are fabulous!||||The 11 rooms in the main lodge are very nice, the upstairs sitting room/lounge has got great views of the river, and there is also a 3 D movie viewing room and a game room featuring arcade basketball, electronic darts, a pool table, and even a drum set and a guitar. Outside is a saltwater pool, hot tub and portable sauna along with great views of the starry skies at night!||||It does take a little while to get here, but the stay here makes the journey very worthwhile!

I recently had the privilege of attending/helping with a wedding there. Heidi and Josh made the whole wedding went smoothly. Heidi went above and beyond the call of duty for all the girls while they were getting ready. She made everyone comfortable while making sure that everything was set up for the wedding. The view was beautiful and the lodge gorgeous! Thank you so much to Heidi and Josh! You both are amazing!!!!

Yes, this is a beautiful location, but don't expect anything from the owners! This is a hunting/fishing lodge not a wedding venue! Working with Vicki was like working with a gold fish. She quoted us the wrong price and then cornered my father at the wedding demanding $900 more! She claimed to not have known about different things we requested; though we had multiple conversations about the fact that there would be alcoholic beverages served and that we would be renting table clothes. She claimed this never happened and they had no idea until the day before. They also never got us a contract and would take several days before returning phone calls. We were told there would be staff to help with set up and take down and no one was there. Included in the wedding package was a breakfast for the couple the next morning, this never happened and when I asked Vicki about it, she said no one said anything about it so she didn't do it. If it's part of your package, why would the bride and groom need to check with you to make sure it's happening?! The outside area of the lodge was also dirty, we had to sweep and pick up fishing gear and clean windows and dump bird baths. We rented out the entire lower lodge and some of the rooms did not have hot water. The wedding was beautiful and went off without a hitch, but no thanks to the lodge owners and staff! NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE!!

I just found one my most favorite places to stay in october of this year. The hells canyon resort is an amazing resort in an amazing place. I have stayed here 3 times since and can't wait for this summer. I was in the middle of moving and brought the whole family here for Thanksgiving weekend. Just can't say enough about Heidi and here wonderful team.

This is a first class place with great hosts...Heidi and Josh ! Beautiful facility, great food, beautiful weather! We would definately come back and stay !! This was our first time up the Snake River...was a great ride, saw lots of wildlife and did some sightseeing. Would like to come back and do some fishing this fall! Thanks again, Doug & Sandi Berg

My so. And his friend went on a hunting expedition. Due to constraints with a vehicle they had to be back in Lewiston at 5:00am. I called the hotel and they allowed them to check in at 5:00am in the morning. They offered them breakfast, transportation to the car rental place, transportation to and from the airport. Both boys are 18yrs old. It gave our families piece of mind that the hotel treated them so well.
