This charming and welcoming resort is an ideal spot for a relaxing weekend getaway. Our stay was delightful, though it would have been even more memorable if the cozy breakfast experience of the homemade waffles we enjoyed here years ago, were still provided .

Simply Amazing! We love VI Homestead Resort. Have been coming here since I was a teenager back in 2009. So family friendly and the facilities are amazing. The gym is 24hours as well!

Just a quick getaway in Lynden. Friendly staff, clean rooms, ample parking.
Wish we could have been spread out further from the other tenants. Kept hearing stomping foot steps from the above tenant. The noise from running water will wake up the dead.
Will come back- and look at the ducks in the lake.👍

Let me start by saying the room was great! The beds were comfy. No complaints about the room or service for that matter. We stayed in a one bedroom with an extra Murphy bed. We used Vi points to stay via our timeshare. Things to note when staying here, the smell of fish fills the air every night around 6PM not just here but the whole town. Not sure why. but it's gross. The view of the on site golf course right out your window is beautiful but be warned you will hear weed whackers every morning at 6AM Super annoying but if you close the windows and crank the AC you wont hear it. 🙂 Overall we had fun and would probably come back.

What a great place to spend a week. Laura helped get us acclimated to the local area quickly and even provided us a list of stunning hikes in the nearby mountains. No detail was missed on the cleanliness and room amenities.

We came for whale watching & it did the job. We arrived late so it was closed but there’s a number you call on the lock box & they give you the code to the box with your keys inside. I panicked for a bit but everything was fine. Their elevators are out & will be for a while so that was ugh after long flight & long drive. There’s help during business hours. It’s pretty far from a lot but we did whale watching from Bellingham, Anacortes & the ferry to SJI so it was ok. Anacortes is about 40 minutes away. We got a 1 bedroom & it was perfect. There’s a Murphy bed in the living room in addition to the sofa (no sofa bed) The bathroom was large & roomy. Also free laundry which was great. We bought soap /fab softener at dollar tree. The kitchen was well stocked with needs to cook etc. Overall a good place to stay. Next time we’ll do Mt. Baker and maybe go into Canada.

All of the ladies that worked at the front desk were very helpful. The rooms were very clean and everything worked right. If you like to golf it is perfect because you are right on a golf course. We didn't get to use the pool or fitness areas because we were up here for a graduation. Lyndon is a very nice, clean community. It has some interesting history surrounding the area. We are probably going to be coming back in about a year for a wedding.

We have been VI resort members for almost 40 years and stayed in almost all of their fine locations. VI resorts are well maintained and are a pleasure to stay at. Homestead is no exception.

We are always greeted by friendly staff and have no problems with checking in. The one bedroom unit has a full kitchen which used to reheat our baked chicken pot pie and two other pies we had for our dinner. But before dinner, we enjoyed exercising in their heated indoor/outdoor pool.

The until was updated clean comfortable and real pleasure to enjoy and relax. We just had a bad experience staying at a B&B in Victoria BC. So we really appreciate the difference a place can be. We realize that booking a place that is non-refundable can be real problem if something goes wrong with your stay. This is a story for another time.

Thankfully, this isn't the case here. The bathroom has a bathroom and sliding glass doors shower above it. The bedroom has a very comfortable bed to write this review in. The living room has a table with chairs so we can enjoy playing Sequence on tomorrow.

Tomorrow we will explore what's around here, use the heated pool again and a pleasant time together. Then, we will be off to Leavenworth WA the next day. We are staying here for two nights and that should be enough for us. Who knows what tomorrow will show us?
