I did a summer tour and it was awesome! Very cool to learn all about the Iditarod from a musher who has done it and another going to run it this winter. The puppies were adorable and fun to get to take a ride with the big dogs. Thanks for a great tour!

The winter dog tour was absolutely wonderful and is an experience that was an all time favorite for my family. Vern and Cindy were amazing hosts and took the time to answer every question we had about the Iditarod, racing, the dogs, etc. It was an amazing piece of property with absolutely gorgeous views. Additionally, the tour itself was a once in a lifetime experience. I will definitely be visiting again when I'm in AK.

Very interesting with detailed explanations of running the Iditarod. Cindy Abbott showed us her sled & all the paraphernalia the mushers need for the trail. There were lots of opportunities to ask questions & take pics. Went for a ride on an ATV hooked up to a team of sled dogs. Was able to walk among the dog houses & pet the dogs. And of course cuddle a litter of pups. It was very evident that they love & take great care of their dogs. We really enjoyed our visit & I will take future guests back to their kennel.

Wonderful enriching experience, with time to play with 8 month old playful puppies. Riding in an atv pulled by 16 eager energetic sled dogs was a highlight of our Alaskan tour.

Vern was awsome. He explained all aspects of preparing for and running the greatest dog sled race in the world. From the video, to the displays, to the dog sled ride, his knowledge and experience made this the hi-light of our vacation!!! A visit at Dream A Dream Sled Dog Tours is well worth the drive to Alaska - don't settle for anything else!!

What a fantastic experience!
For a person who was less than confident to jump on a dog sled , I gained new confidence in the safe hands of these wonderful mushers. I was especially honoured to meet Cindy Abbott and Vern - both Iditarod finishers.
They were so generous in sharing their knowledge. Thanks guys, I learnt so much!

We had a fun time. It was a great experience. We learned about the history of and the requirements to run the Iditarod. Our mushers have run and completed the Iditarod multiple times and so had the dogs. The dogs were friendly and happy to run. Everyone there was so nice. I would highly recommend!
