This was one of the best RV parks we experienced in our 2 week Alaska trip! Each site was clearly labeled, ground was graded well, no puddles or weeds anywhere, and hookups were easy to use. They have clean & well-maintained showers for no additional fee. Laundry uses dollar coins and they have a change machine on site. Owner lives on site and actually came out to welcome us, even though we arrived after hours. Wifi was decent. Stunning views in every direction and located right near the famous "Valdez Alaska" sign. Location was great as well so we actually did not have to drive to go to any of our planned stops (cruise tour, kayak tour) and even walked to the local Safeway. Highly recommended place to stay!

Great place to stay! The owners are so nice and personable and they keep everything super clean! We very rarely get a dog sitter, but we went on the Lu-Lu Belle (which I also recommend!), which is all day, so we hired the owner’s daughter to walk our dogs. Not only did she walk them the 2 times we agreed upon, but they saw that our boat was running late getting back and walked them an extra 2 times thankfully. She also wrote up exact schedules for each dog on how long she walked them and if they went to the bathroom or not. She definitely went the extra mile and if you are looking for an RV park and a pet sitter, look no further! The park also has a laundry room and showers and the RV sites are gravel. The location is perfect ~ we walked downtown everyday right from the park.

Beautiful convenient campsite for Valdez. Pitches with electricity, clean and heated bathrooms, working wifi. Relaxation area protected from possible rain with romantic lights and beautiful murals. Heated laundry room with coins with possibility of changing cash. Wonderful staff, friendly, available to help you and offer you a coffee or tea while. We were very pleased to stay here!

Best place to stay in Valdez AK! The owners, Kate & John, do everything in their power to make sure your stay is a happy one. Wendy deserves a special shout out too, she also does all she can to make sure you’re happy and satisfied. The park is clean and has a magnificent view of the mountains. Take the first left into Valdez RV Park off the Richardson Highway to the best RV park in Valdez!

The owners and staff are very accommodating and friendly. Our group had a Pot Luck Supper in their meeting area by the office. They had tablecloths and flowers on the tables.
Coin op laundry very clean. Restrooms and showers nice and clean. They provided s’mores at the large fire pit every night.

We feel it one of the best campgrounds that we stayed at. We were at 30 campgrounds.

We would definitely stay with them again!!!

We stayed 2 nights in our pop up pickup camper at this nice RV park on the edge of town. From our site we had a view of the surrounding mtns, fireweed & daisies blooming in the foreground. The bathrooms, showers & laundry facitlities were remarkably clean. The owners/office staff were quite helpful & friendly. We liked that we could walk to the harbor docks, grocery store and museums.

We brought our camper down for a week and had an amazing time! The hosts are so welcoming and generous, and had great information about gold rush days activities. Highly recommend Kate and John and Valdez RV Park. Wonderful hospitality, clean facilities, and amazing coffee every morning!

Owners are very accommodating, laundry, shower, bathrooms very clean. They had s’mores at the fire pit every night. We had a large group(26) and used their group area at the office for a Pot Luck supper. They put tablecloths and flowers on the tables and provided garbage containers. We’re always available if we needed anything. Would go back again. Need more campgrounds this friendly and accommodating. We were at the Valdez RV Park 4 nights.
