Best place to grab breakfast or an early lunch in North Laguna. I love the huge selection of drinks, pastries, and food. My go to order is a small lukewarm hot chocolate, a side of scrambled eggs well done, and a chocolate pistachio croissant. The vibes of the restaurant are great too. Perfect for the instagram.

I had a lovely breakfast at Urth Caffé in Laguna Beach. The mushroom omelette was well-prepared with fresh ingredients and a good balance of flavors, though it could have used a touch more seasoning. The Napoleon pastry was a delightful treat—flaky, creamy, and not overly sweet. My hot Earl Grey tea was perfectly steeped and served at just the right temperature. The ambiance was charming, and the staff were friendly, though the service was a bit slower than expected considering the time of day. Overall, it was a satisfying experience, and I’d happily return!

I recently visited Urth Cafe, and I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great place to relax or catch up with friends.

The service was excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout our visit.

I ordered a coffee, and while it was delicious and expertly brewed, I found it a bit too sweet for my taste. If you enjoy sweeter beverages, you’ll likely love it!

For food, I tried the smoked salmon pizza, and it did not disappoint. The combination of flavors was delightful, and the smoked salmon added a nice touch to the dish.

Overall, Urth Cafe is a great spot for coffee enthusiasts and those looking for a tasty bite. I would definitely recommend it, though I’d suggest asking for less sweetness in your coffee if that’s your preference. I look forward to returning to try more of their menu!

We've been here before but this is the first time we went to this location and with a group of 7 people. FYI Sundays are busy as you would expect to plan accordingly - we had to wait 1 hour from the time we got there to the time we sat down. Here's what we ordered.

Lasagna: definitely an amazing dish but there was a bit too much cheese.

Belgian waffle: good but too many bananas and not enough strawberries

Pistachio waffle - one of the best waffles! The nutella was amazing but we were unsure if the green spread was matcha or pistachio based on the taste, although taste was delicious.

Panini diablo: not spicy, no sauce, and only tasted chicken breasts and bread

Egg tasty panini: delicious but not enough space

Breakfast burrito: well done but too much avocado

Matcha drink: solid

Honey vanilla latte: 10/10

Overall - we would recommend to those looking for a decent brunch with an amazing location.

They need to clean the tables , the restrooms, the floors through out the day. They guys making the drinks. The machines are also dirty!! Ordered the açaí with beets smoothie. Just tasted wrong and was to be unappealing.. the Spanish drink after refunding the first drink was sitting around forever.. no one brought it to the table and when we went up to the counter to pick it up.. it had been sitting for some time.. once again dirty location! Ordered the tostada salad..no chicken.

This cafe in Laguna Beach is located in a corner facing the street, it unfortunately doesn’t have a nice view but it has a nice atmosphere. Food is ordered at the register and is brought to you by the servers, it took a while for our order to come out, and I noticed the people around me had been waiting for a while as well. The pistachio tiramisu is absolutely delicious! We also tried the cafe bebero, it was a shot of espresso with condensed milk at the bottom. The power blend smoothie did not taste very well, although it seemed very nutritious as it had beets in it. Overall I would recommend the desserts and the ambiance of the place.
