Booked a week and last second which was super convenient, but the staff made sure we had a room close to the exit and everything else. Rooms were clean, plenty of clean sheets and towels. Wifi works great, good channels, and even though the place was making renovations. When their finished its gonna be amazing. It's the first option when we came back to book another week.

The staff is very friendly. Building has had some remodeling. Unfortunately the pool is closed but the room has all needed amenities and is great for the price. There's plenty of parking, a little playground for children and gambling machines in the lobby for adults! It's a laid back atmosphere and nice for a night away.

It's a cozy and quiet place to stay. There's a restaraunt next door and a very nice park nearby. The gentleman at the front desk has been very welcoming and helpful to me being new in the area. The rooms are very clean and we are always greeted with a friendly smile.

Me and a couple of close friends of mine planned a trip out to Steven’s point for a fewand one of us booked a room at the university inn and suites and upon arrival, everything seemed alright, then about an hour and a half after we got in one of us discovered a cockroach, at which point a complaint was filed and they moved us to a different room with no upgrades or anything, it don’t stop there on another night, a discovery of another bug in the new room was made. And front desk had failed to do anything about it. There is more. We had found mold inside of the bathroom and stains on both sheet cover, just utter yuckness we were informed that the pool no longer works due to heating issues, and the smart tvs were a bit glitchy and the internet did not work, I tried to connect my own Wi-Fi hotspot to the tv but they have the tvs blocked from being able to connect to anything but their non working and non exsisting so called high speed internet, there were no in room coffee makers like some have stated in fake reviews, which seems to be a staple in the reviews section as they do their best to ignore any bad reviews and toss us to the bottom of the review list while paying people to make good reviews in order to balance their revenue out. These guys are petty and cheap. Nothing is as as stated im any promos or online add.The only redeeming factor is the legacy restaurant which is not any business associated to this motel, (I actually really liked legacy cafe) so please do not take away from that business at all. However when it comes to university inn and suites, avoid this place and pay a few extra for the la Quinta across the street,

ROACH MOTEL. REPORTING TO THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT AND BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. Within the first two hours after check in, we found a roach. We were moved to a different room without being offered an upgrade or discount. We booked a poolside room, but the pool and hot tub are not in service for what looks like years. The staff claims it is a heating issue, but the humidity in the pool area contradicts that claim. There is black mold in the bathrooms and stains on both the sheets and mattress covers. Disgusting.
On top of this, it appears from other reviews that "management" does not respond to the MANY abysmal reviews by customers, and quite possibly pay or fake post responses to impossible 5 star reviews. One of the 5 star reviews was posted by "Ching Chang Chong", which is obviously fake and very RACIST. It appears they do this so that it is the first review nonsuspecting out of towners will see, to mislead people so that they still get money from us.
When we approached the night shift for the second time about the roaches and asked to speak with the manager, Krish Marion, we were told to come back in the morning because there is nothing she could do at the moment.
Like I said, we are going to management with the health department on the phone first thing in the morning.

My stay here was truly a pleasant experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was calm and inviting. What stood out most was the genuine warmth of the staff – always helpful and friendly, making sure I felt looked after without being overbearing. It’s a place where small details are noticed and cared for, which made my experience all the more enjoyable. Definitely a spot I’d be happy to return to.

The room and the hotel was clean, warm and welcoming staff, the location of the hotel is the best and a good restaurant by the hotel is plus point. Beds were comfortable, water for shower was nice and Hot . Overall my stay was excellent. I'll definitely be back.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The University Inn and Suites, and I was thoroughly impressed! The hotel itself was lovely, but what really made my stay stand out was the exceptional staff. From the moment I arrived, they were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make me feel at home.

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, making it easy to relax and unwind after a long day. I was particularly impressed with the housekeeping team, who did a spectacular job keeping my room spotless and tidy throughout my stay.

The hotel's location was also a major plus - it's conveniently situated right off the highway, making it easily accessible. Additionally, it was just a short distance from where I was working, which made my daily commute a breeze.

But what really put the icing on the cake was the incredible Legacy Restaurant, located right within the hotel. The gourmet food was truly amazing, and the staff took fantastic care of me. A big shout-out to the Legacy team for their exceptional service and cuisine!

Overall, I would highly recommend The University Inn and Suites to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and delicious stay. The combination of friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, excellent housekeeping, and top-notch dining makes it a true gem. I look forward to staying here again in the future!
