You absolutely must visit this Polish restaurant in Lake Forest! The food is delicious, beautifully presented, and the service is impeccable. I haven’t had a pork cutlet this good in a long time! The side salads, broth, and borscht are simply outstanding. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with comfortable seating that makes you want to stay and enjoy your meal even longer. Traditional Polish music playing in the background adds to the authentic experience, making you feel like you’ve been transported straight to Poland. To top it all off, they offer a great selection of regional Polish beers and the unforgettable blackcurrant nalewka, which perfectly complements the meal. A perfect place to enjoy a taste of home or discover Polish cuisine.

Was nice... Save for plastic cups for water, blood sausage, cabbage rolls (taste like borscht!) and bigos were right on the spot. Haven't seen chicken Kiev on the menu even though it's advertised online, otherwise we'd ordered that too.

Was at the soft opening of the restaurant today. Had cabbage rolls, Polish dumplings, and the meal of the day. Great Polish atmosphere and the food was even better. Grand opening is the 28th but come in early and check it out 10/10 I suggest

Oh my goodness sakes. U Babci has just opened and Polish food rocks!! I had the most incredible dumplings stuffed with different ingredients. Firstly, the restaurant is quaint and I was greeted warmly by the owner named Casper. Second, the service was prompt and Mike was excellent taking care of me. Most importantly, the food was so delicious. I would call it comfort food! The dumplings stuffed with pork and beef were my favorite but the dumplings stuffed with potato and cheese and also the ones stuffed with cabbage and mushrooms were also very very tasty. I look forward to trying the pork chops next time. I understand this is the only Polish restaurant in Orange County and i am so glad they have come to Lake Forest. I am not Polish, but love good cooking and their varied menu. I bet you will too.

I was not familiar with Polish cuisine and did not know what to expect. Everything we had was fantastic. Pierogis, Polish sausage, and cabbage wraps were all delightful. I also love that they have imported Polish beers as well.
The atmosphere is very welcoming and felt like I was at a family dinner in Poland.
Can't wait to try everything on the menu.

The heart and soul put into this place is readily apparent in the ambiance, the culture, the customer service, and above all else THE FOOD!!! I tell all my friends and family if you have not had a chance to try Polish food (and more specifically THIS Polish food) that they are missing out big time. My go to is the Gołabki (Cabbage Rolls) or the classic Kielbasa (Polish Sausage)! But their meal of the day adds a huge level of variety and reason to come back!

Amazing authentic Polish food! U Babci feels like a home away from home, with cozy vibes and super friendly service. The pierogi are perfectly soft, the gołąbki are full of flavor, it’s the best I’ve had outside of Poland! Portions are generous, prices are fair, and everything tastes homemade. Can’t wait to come back!
