This just a review of the restaurant.
We went for there Valentine's Day Special on Sunday it was very quiet probably due to the weather and we came at 5 when they close at 6 on Sunday.
Staff was very friendly some of the options were out but we were able to substitute anything for the same price. Example they were out of Cheesecake but offered any other dessert they had.
Food was very good except they use the oil on the garlic bread that I'm not a fan of but other than that everything was delicious. Can't wait to go back in the summer and have nice views of the lake eating out on the patio.

Small friendly lodge. The room was nice (and peaceful), and the food at the restaurant was good... slightly overpriced, but the serving size was more than I could eat. Overall, it's a nice place and worth a stop.

Hello everyone!!! Glad to introduce to you this nice place! Unfortunately my friends take us here too late and we didn't spend much time there. But this is really nice, calm and romantic place!!! Great atmosphere! Good food and drinks!!! Im lovely will come back here next time!!! Recommended to everyone!!!

We didn't stay in any of the rooms. We are lunch and it was really good. The portions that we got were huge, and well worth the money. The average plate was probably 13-16 dollars. The service was really good too. It's a smaller lodge but very nice and well kept.

The West Virginia state park system has a lot of great parks to visit and stay at. The food was good, prices were reasonable lot of things to do with you and the kids.

Cozy find with a view of Tygart Lake. Loved that it was tucked away from town and close to a few trails. The rooms were newly remodeled with a private deck overlooking the lake. Absolutely beautiful and so quiet! The restaurant also has great breakfast. Highly recommend the sausage gravy biscuits! All staff was very friendly and happy to recommend activities in the area. Great place and will most likely be staying here again, in the future.

We LOVE coming to Tygart Lake State Park Lodge. It's affordable, great service, and a great restaurant (the cheese steak & berry salad are both awesome). It's perfect for couples and families. Great for a day trip or extended vacation. Winter and summer are both fun. The cabins are also great as well, especially for younger family members or a couple wanting to have a getaway! The staff is wonderful and is part of the WV state park. It's all around a great spot to relax
