The most amazing trip we have ever been on!!! I have been there 3 times now and each visit has truly been unique and memorable.
Breathtaking views from every room, comfortable cozy beds, exquisite food and service.
Owners Merri and Larry are amazing hosts. The detail and the care that is put into your stay is above 5 star!!!! Our boating excursions were very exciting! Whales, Sea Lions, Eagles, Otters and a grizzly bear catching and eating salmon. You are in good hands at Twin Island Lodge! a guaranteed great time. Good memories...Cant wait to get back there!

Five stars is not enough to say how amazing Twin Islands Lodge is. My wife and I spent 4 days and started with our checked bag being lost by the airline. This is normally a huge problem for a trip, but we were saved by our hosts providing us with all the toiletries we could ever need, and brand new swimming suit, and hiking shoes for my wife to borrow. All stuff we had brought but was stuck in a different part of the state. The level of detail put into designing the lodge was amazing and everything was spotless. Everywhere you look is breathtaking views, and drinking your morning coffee from your room makes you wish you could do that everyday of your life. The food was incredible as well. You'd swear Merri was a Michelin star chef. She and Larry are just the most wonderful and accommodating hosts and you will not regret a stay at Twin Islands Lodge.

Lets talk about MAGIC. That is exactly what Twin Islands is! It's MAGIC. I have never felt so pampered, and so welcomed.
The meals are not only gourmet but the table setting are stunning. The staff is kind, fun and very accommodating. They always make us feel like family! The cabins are fabulous and very comfortable, with a view to die for! Breathtaking sunrises and sunsets from all over the Island. The hot tub or sauna, with a nice cold dip, is the most relaxing way to end your day. Not only are we return customers, but life long friends. Thank you Meri and Larry for all that you do to make everyone feel so special.

Top-notch couples getaway at the best all-inclusive resort in Alaska! Merri and Larry are incredible hosts, and Merri, especially, does everything with such care and grace. She has many years of experience working in concierge services for high-end hotels, and it shows in the way she treats her guests and the service she is able to provide. Larry is great as well and is willing and able to boat guests to and from town and organize excursions. ||The property is stunning, and the views from anywhere - from the rooms to outside decks - are some of the best in Sitka. There are so many options for things to do on this small but mighty island, including a sauna, jacuzzi, movie and workout room, kayaking, fire pits, and more. ||It's truly a special place and a memorable destination.

My family and I recently stayed at Twin Islands Retreat (TIR) from June 19-24, 2024, and we were absolutely astonished by the incredible beauty surrounding the little islands just off the coast of Sitka. The sight of bald eagles nesting in the tall pines, lush foliage, blooming flowers, and moss-covered rocks and branches was truly breathtaking.

At TIR, we felt like part of the family. All meals were provided and eaten at a communal dining table, where Merri, the amazing cook, demonstrated her incredible ability to whip up delicious meals from whatever ingredients were available. We were never hungry, that’s for sure. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, and the two rooms in an adjacent house offered stunning views of the ocean, rocks, and islands. The beds were heavenly soft and luxurious, making it hard to get up in the mornings.

The entire property is well-appointed with thoughtful touches to make our stay easy and comfortable. TIR provided us with kayaks and rain gear for exploring the islands. There was so much to see, and everything was fascinatingly different and interesting. I couldn’t stop taking photos of the starfish! When we wanted to leave the island, Larry was always ready to take us wherever we wanted to go. They have a great workout room with lots of options to burn a few calories and a fun movie room for enjoying some indoor time if the weather wasn’t cooperating. Merri and Larry, along with their two helpers, John and Lisa, took excellent care of us and made us feel so spoiled, never allowing us to do anything except relax. TIR had everything we wanted.

TIR is an unexpected luxury experience in Southeast Alaska. I can’t wait to go back!

Pictures don’t do this place justice! Twin Islands Retreat was first class hospitality from start to finish. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay unforgettable.

Every meal served was incredible and we were surrounded by beautiful 360 views. We most enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi, watching eagles and hawks fly nearby, movie night in the movie room and drinks by the fire pit after dinner. The owners even helped us arrange jet ski rentals that were brought right to the dock for us!

The rooms are so comfortable and one morning I got to watch a bald eagle perch right outside my window.

I don’t have any critiques for this magical place. Can’t wait to go back!

Merri is so kind, and Larry is an excellent host! This place is truly spectacular, views everywhere, our own little "Eagle" island where 15 or so flew in to have a snack right in front of us! Larry also shot off our own private firework display since we were there on July 4th! Merri's food was great, the rooms were super nice, comfy beds, nice jacuzzi. Also a fitness and movie room, very nice but we didn't get a chance to use since we were there only one night. A truly unforgettable experience! Not to be missed if you're in Sitka!!

Twin islands is literally a unique Alaskan paradise. Merri and Larry are a sweet and kind hosting duo, I’ve had the pleasure of visiting the lodge a few times with friends. We always have the best experience from pick up at the dock to drop off. The boat ride to the island is just as magical. Merri is just as sweet as her homemade cookies and scones! This place is surrounded by so much beauty everywhere you look you’ll see mountains, eagles, whales and if you get lucky you’ll see Northen lights right outside your door step and of course all the rooms are extremely cozy and comfortable! I recommend this place one hundred percent to anyone who is looking to experience Alaska in all its glory!
