When I walked through the door of Twin Gables, it felt like home to me. Very comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. The owner is very nice and a pleasure to talk with. The breakfast was the best and most delicious! I love the boat dock and sitting area out doors.|I look forward to my next stay.

Great Stay! My partner and I stayed in the apartment, and my sister stayed in the main house. We loved having the sitting area in the main house to collect, play board games, and drink coffee, and socialize with Carleton the house cat! Everything was tasteful and cozy. Kathleen is a wise and gracious Host, and a fabulous cook! We couldn't have been happier.

Twin Gables was a step back in time to Avonlea. Warm and welcoming contrasting the wet, cold winter. Miss Kathleen was a delightful host and delicious cook. My husband worked with some of the best chefs in the heart of New Orleans and is a little snooty with food. He still talks about how good her breakfasts are both in presentation and taste!

We stayed at Twin Gables to attend a family burial in Cathlamet. The owner (Kathleen) was welcoming and accommodating. We experienced a problem with our burial arrangements, a pastor hadn’t been scheduled. Kathleen made a few calls and located a local pastor who happily presided for us. Our family thanks her so much.

What a winderful place! We had so much fun just relaxing and getting around the charming town. Dinner at The Duck, huge portions and so very good we went back the next night. Had breakfast at Twin Gables - delightful. Will definitely go back and recommend to anyone!

Twin Gables a very lovely B & B. Kathleen, the host, is very attentive and super nice. Rooms are lovely, and the views are amazing. Right along the Skamokawa Creek you wake up with birds chirping and a wonderful sunrise. The food is amazing and makes you feel out home. Plus Carlton the cat is the best!
I will 100% be back.

Lovely, historic B and B located near the coast. Innkeeper, Kathleen, made me feel at home. She cooked a lovely and delicious supper and breakfast for me. The rooms look out over Skamokawa creek and I enjoyed the sounds of Song Sparrows and saw Bald Eagles. This place is a little out of the way, but well worth it!

Highly recommend Twin Gables! Beautiful place, comfortable beds, and nice dock where we moored our boat during our stay. 5 star!! Twin Gables will be our "go to" for this area. Catheen was very helpful and we were able to bring our black lab Rosie. The coffee was really good too!
