This is a beautiful RV campground. Large and wide wooded sites with full hookups. Staff is very accommodating. Restrooms and showers are spotless. There is a tavern on site, but we were tired from travel and did not visit. I would highly recommend this campground! Perfect!

One of the best in town RV parks I have ever stayed in. Lots of space between sites with trees for each one. Fairly level sites, hook ups full or partial. We asked to be out away from most as our dog can be territorial. Wasn't a problem and the site is great.. Large enough for our 32' 5th wheel, truck and you could park another car if needed. Showers and laundry are on site.. No concrete jungle here...

The Thundra is obviously an awesome building, but we (as locals) went to an event in their bar & it's is even more amazing inside.

I didn't rate their rooms, because I've never stayed there - but if you're looking for a nice place to sit and have a drink with no hassles this is it!

Review||As a couple who were dry camping this week, it would have required significant effort to find a more uncomfortable stay than the Tundra RV Park and Bar. We should’ve saved our $30 and parked on a roadside instead.||AFTER running my credit card, the attendant informed me that the advertised WIFI availability was nonexistent at the campsites. I needed to be in the office or bar to use it.||Okay, whatever.||But after getting camp set up, we headed to the bathrooms, where a sign informed us that the men’s room was closed for repairs, and the ladies’ room was now coed. There is only one bathroom/shower building in the park!||So, men and women are to share the same space for showering and toileting - in a single room with stalls - but are not informed of this up front. I called the after-hours number provided on the office door, and was told that no, I could not obtain a discounted rate under the circumstances.||Had they simply informed me that the only campground bathroom was a single coed room with stalls, I’d have moved along. Instead, there I was with camp set up, 9:15 at night, with everything (office, bar, laundry) shut.||When I asked about where to wash dishes, as the laundry room was shut by then, I was advised to use the single bathroom.||I think this speaks to the level of consideration the proprietors have for their guests. This place is a hard pass.

A wonderful park! The gentleman that checked us in was very friendly, accommodating, and easy going. We tried reserving online on our drive up the Alaska Highway, but our cell signal was non-existent, so he took care of us as a walk-in, no problem!
As for the RV spaces and overall site, it’s lovely, with beautiful trees everywhere. It has the electric and water hookups you need, showers, laundry, even a bar… but is also perfectly rustic.

Funky and priced right for the location and what you get. Super accommodating owners. RV spots to meet whatever requirements you have, and as a bonus, the mosquitos were not bad. (Apparently, a REAL bonus in July in Alaska...(

Wonderful RV park! We had perfect spot, full hook up for our truck and 5th wheel. Huge trees on both sides, picnic tables and fire pits at each site. They have 20, 30 and 50 Amp service, water and sewer if needed. They also have dry camps. Rest rooms and showers were very clean, well lighted, spacious too. Laundry on site, car wash and a bar that looked well stocked, but we forgot to visit in the evening. The park is laid out very well, lots of pull through spots as well as back in. We will definitely stay here again! The staff? Fabulous!!!
