Great little spot for great fancy coffees (Vanilla Latte) and the croissant sandwich with bacon egg and cheese was wonderfully fresh. My husband had the Cowboy burrito. Everything was great. We will visit again soon.
We stopped in after camping for the weekend last week.

I'd read about this cafe opening, so took my sister-in-law and we drove to Arivaca. The owners had a water pipe break that morning - their main business is coffee - but they soldiered through with great attitude. I had the Sonoran hot dog. No bacon wrap, but bacon crumbles instead - better and delicious! And, I chose a beverage from their cooler of interesting, off-brand sodas. There are no "servers" - you order at a counter. The "decor" is essentially non-existent, as they just opened, so don't expect this to be like a GV restaurant. There was a steady stream of locals coming in, including a gal that offered to bring water to them. As locals will be their "bread & butter", I'm encouraged that they will make it. There was also a group of bikers stopping for coffee - one of the owners ran out to the parking lot to explain the lack of water. This young man is very positive, very engaging - the bikers ended up coming in anyway, instead of being disappointed about no coffee. I love the drive to/from Arivaca, and I love Arivaca itself - one of the few true small towns left. I will gladly support Tumbleweed any time I pass through!

Great place with friendly people. The food is the freshest around and locally sourced. Had their caffe mocha and a breakfast sandwich on a croissant with bacon and, oh my goodness, it was the bomb! Hubs had the outlaw burrito and was equally pleased. Highly recommend Tumbleweed Cafe. #supportlocal!!!!!

Surprisingly good. Breakfast Burrito I had was very tasty and filling. Several choices of hot sauce. Staff were very friendly. At this time full regular menu is only open on specific days. Check in advance.

Having read the other reviews I'm trying to decide if I ate at the same restaurant. I've been there twice, opening weekend and a couple weeks ago. I'm one of the AARP motorcyclists who populate Arivaca road. My first time there I ordered the recommended special, a burrito. It was a brownish grey paste in a flour tortilla. I thought it was refried beans but the owner chef assured me it wasn't. I wrote it off as opening weekend jitters. Last sunday I pulled in at 9 am to an empty house. When I decided it was open, the lighted Open sign was a clue, I went in and ordered a breakfast sandwich on a croissant. Three other customers had come in and ordered. While I waited for my sandwich they were all served. Upon asking about my order the young man said they were out of croissants and I should order something else. This was after I paid and waited. I ordered the biscuits and gravy. It arrived lukewarm served over obviously frozen biscuits and on a tissue. Nothing good to say about it. I would have complained but was deterred by the handgun the young man at the counter had strapped to his hip. A disappointing experience.
