We have loved this place for a long time and have been repeat customers for years. The service has really gone down hill over the last few years. The employees in every department (with the exception of the spa I must say!) have made us feel unwelcome several times now and are short and act inconvenienced every time we book. The restaurant will have few people in it but the staff makes you feel like they are doing you a favor by finding you a table and it will be difficult to get you in, but they will manage. The front desk clerks rarely smile and they too act like you are interrupting them upon check in. Very unwelcoming. We needed to modify our reservation this time within the 3 day cancellation period due to an ill elderly parent who lives in Sahuarita and they would not budge on their policy to charge one night plus tax. 350.00 gone. We booked directly with them. Bottom line, profits over people and repeat guests combined with a bag of unpleasant workers makes this place such a bummer now as it is so charming. Too risky to book this place for the price.

We enjoyed our Holiday here…very much. Breakfasts and dinners at the Stables Ranch Grille were excellent. Especially Christmas Eve. Good Sandwiches at La Cantina. Room was great. Service was good. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. Thank you guys for a good time….

Well, what a wow experience! The accommodations were classic hacienda style with a fantastic restaurant and a view of the greens. I loved the gift shop too! The Stables restaurant offered one of the best breakfasts ever, and the dinner by the fireplace was equally as yummy. I actually left my favorite necklace in my room, and they returned it to me! The staff were all incredible and the grounds were fantastic. We expected an evening visit from the local javelina, and we were not disappointed!

Came for Christmas and met family who had rented a casita suite. The room was so beautiful, cozy and very clean. We dined at Stables Restaurant, and the food was very good. It was a buffet for Christmas, and there were so many options, and the food was all hot, fresh and delicious. I'm not a fan of buffets, but I would definitely return for this! I highly recommend this resort and can't wait to come back.

I have always wanted to stay in Tubac at the resort and decided to book one of the rooms for New Year’s Eve. I can see now, when booking not through the resort you are given a room on the back 40. The room itself was nice but it was a bit of a dismay that the grounds crew can’t even be bothered to blow the leaves off of the patio for the guests. The casitas that are more desirable are kept just immaculately, however our area pales in comparison. The room itself was clean and tidy it just lacked ambiance. It was room 137 for reference.

I think this is one of our favorite resorts ! The town of Tubac is incredibly beautiful-- peaceful and very "chill." The resort itself is quiet and well laid out, so you feel the serenity wherever you are. Our king Hacienda room was fabulous with charming southwestern decor. The bathroom, in particular, was so lovely with the exquisite wall and counter tile and the authentic saltillo tile flooring. We dined in the restaurant, indoors and outdoors, where we got to see cows grazing against the Santa Rita mountains in the background. The staff was professional and incredibly friendly-- including the servers, pool personnel, front desk staff, and gift shop sales person. We will definitely be returning to this resort again and again. Highly recommended!

The venue grounds are absolutely spectacular and beautifully maintained. The staff was friendly and professional and helped execute our wedding day flawlessly. The food service was wonderful and our signature drinks were a huge hit. Our guests loved the rooms and the peaceful atmosphere. Overall it was a great experience and the wedding weekend felt like a quaint fairytale in a historic Spanish town.

This resort is a great place to visit if you are a golfer, enjoy the southwest & outdoor enthusiast. Our visit included 3 nights in a clean, well appointed room, 3 full days of golf and some great food. The resort is easy to locate and the golf courses were in great condition. Friendly staff, great food and the village of Tubac is 5 minutes away. I highly recommend this resort for those looking for a stay and play option.
