Tropicana Laughlin - Laughlin, Nevada

I was visiting Laughlin to participate in a running race (which ultimately got canceled, but that is another story). ||Because my GPS routed me around to the back entrance I was not sure what to expect, however I found my way to the parking garage, which was easy to maneuver.||The front desk staff was very nice when I checked in. I was given a room on a no-smoking floor in the Promenade Tower, which was very convenient to the parking garage elevators. It was nice to have that option because the casino downstairs is smoky.||My room was very clean and I was happy to see there was an in-room coffee maker. The Wi-Fi worked great and there was a good selection of TV channels. The only noise I experienced during my 3 night stay was from the hallway, and that was very brief and did not disturb my sleep at all. ||The room was somewhat chilly but the heater was easy to operate and helped to keep a comfortable temperature. The water pressure in the shower was great and the hot water worked well too.||I had dinner twice at Brew Brothers. Food was delicious although prices seemed high for the smallish portions. There is a nice variety of draft beer to choose from. I also had breakfast one morning at Carnegies which was very nice, as well as a sandwich from Port O Subs. Service at all three of the restaurants was friendly and kind.||While I was waiting to meet friends on Saturday morning I overheard a lot of grumbling from the ladies at the front desk. They just did not seem like happy people. While I can understand someone being unhappy about things at their workplace it is not very professional for them to grouse when there are guests nearby who can hear them.||The cost of my room was quite reasonable and overall I was happy with my stay (other than having the event I had traveled there for get canceled!).

Not a fancy place by any means but nowhere in laughlin is. It's consistently clean, well lit, comfortable, and security is great. We've stayed here about 20 times over the last 5 years and have never left with any disappointed feelings about the place.

Positive: It was quiet and decent sized room. I have stayed here before and this tower is a bit different. It has a bath tub & central air. The casino tower has a shower & wall mount Heat/AC unit. Both have their own advantages. The windows in this hotel are nice. Negative: POOR wi-fi bandwidth. VERY POOR!

Was driving in from the grand canyon and specifically wanted a place with a hot tub. We called the front desk, they confirmed they had a hot tub and that it was open until 8. We checked in around 7. When we made it to the hot tub, it wasn't hot. it was barely warm. Then a worker came and kicked everyone out at 8, despite the front desk telling everyone there that they were open until 9. Lame. That and the rooms don't have USB plugs to charge your devices

Tropicana use to be the only place we started but they stopped sending us offers and we gamble there ALOT so idk what happened. But it is still one if the 1st places we go into when we're in Laughlin. The casino has so many gaming options, the food options are delicious, we enjoy playing bingo there, the rooms are really nice. They have a big arcade so our kids enjoy that. The pool is nice and they have live music which we always enjoy. Wish they'd send more offers to us cause I love staying here.

Love this place for some laid-back fun and vacation. The staff is always super friendly and front desk very helpful to fix any issues. We love the waitresses and game floor staff. They've gotten to know us over the years.

The first room my husband and I ended up in, tub would run water after turning it off, the whole bathroom looked like it was falling apart. Got moved down the hall to another room. The bathroom sink in this room, looked like it was coming off the walls, along with the tub.

Staff was friendly and very understanding.

Positive: Quiet room, nice bed. Good rate. In-N-Out Burger right next door. Negative: The wi-fi signal was trash. A dial-up modem would work better! No bandwidth. Odd in this day and age they have such a primitive system.
