The staff at this lodge go above and beyond all expectations to make sure the guests get a full Alaskan experience.. The food is homemade and delicious. The smell of soup every afternoon after a full day day of fishing or other outdoor events was perfect. We made friends with other guests and staff alike. It is convenient to town yet you can fish off their private dock. We will be back!

Such a beautiful place! We loved the excursions! We saw bears and got some fish. They even have a dock with fishing poles so you can fish off of in the back deck. Food was great! The soup was so perfect coming back from a chilly day. For somebody who doesn’t fish much, I had the best time! Jen and Jason were so accommodating and were awesome to recommend hikes and give tips for excursions. Can’t wait till we come back!

Can't say enough about the experience at Soldotna Trophy Lodge.
Jason, Jenn and the entire staff go out of their way daily to make your experience epic. Oh, and did I mention the fishing. World class.
7 guys in 4 days brought home 250 pounds of Silvers, Sockeye (reds) and Halibut.
Saw Grizzlies, Black Bears, Moose. River otters, bald eagles.
WOW, says it all.

I really enjoyed my stay at Trophy Lodge. With a relaxed atmosphere, Alex and the other staff are experts at making you feel comfortable and cared for. From the very early breakfasts and supplying directions and everything we needed for our fishing trips to the best prime rib dinner I have ever tasted, it was a wonderful experience that surpassed any expectations. Catherine at Alaskan Fishing Adventures lined me up with a great deal that was exactly what i wanted for my group. They know how to show guests a good time. I will definitely be back.

The very best part of the Trophy Lodge is the extremely hospitable staff. Alex and everyone that works here really do their very best to make your stay comfortable. The food is very good with great breakfasts and dinners.
The only reason I can not rate the lodge higher is because of its location. When you hear the word lodge, most people imagine some place off in the woods somewhere very close to nature. I can honestly say that it was very disappointing to realize the “lodge” is literally 2 blocks from the town of Soldotna. It is in town, although on the river. If your looking for something secluded, there might be better choices. The other consideration is that if you plan to do any offshore fishing, you will have to depart the lodge at 4am to get to the boats in time 2 hours away. Each way! This is no hit on the lodge. It is just the location. This also means sandwiches for lunch that you will make yourself each day at 330am. Just saying. Again, this may be totally fine for some, as my group still managed to have a great trip but I felt I should give full disclosure!
