Loved the dinner experience here. Food was excellent and tasty, service was amazing and overall it was perfect for a date night dinner. Talked to other guests also who couldn’t stop talking about how much they love this place. Must go in Mendocino area.

I’ve been here four times now. The food is pretty good, the atmosphere is enjoyable but all of that is canceled out by their atrocious seating system and extremely tiny waiting area.

Each time I’ve come here, I’ve waited an additional hour past our reservation time. Each time, my family and I have waited in the vestibule that can accommodate no more than 1 human at a time, as waitresses, diners and departing staff push in and out of this extremely busy common area. As a result, we’ve had to wait outside in the pouring rain while waiting to be called for our table (see picture).

Honor the seating time of your guests, or remove the reservation system.

The Seafood Bouillabaisse wasn't very good. Lackluster seasoning, prawns were vastly overcooked. The Wild Caught Nightly Fish was rock cod and it was delightful. Well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Very popular place and reservations are definitely a good idea. The bathroom was clean and well appointed and the server was clearly experienced, and just really great. Didn't stay in the inn.

We only ate at the restaurant for lunch. We sat outside under the "big top " . Lots of plants, cute tables nicely spaced for some privacy. Servers/hostesses were sweet and helpful. Service was quick and the food was Wonderful!

Great outdoor dining place which is dog friendly and cozy. The patio has side panels which makes our outdoor dining experience as comfortable as indoors during winter time.
Food is amazing. Highly recommend Grilled Prawn Appetizer .

The service quality is top notch and they even offered lap blankets to keep us warm. Our waitress is super knowledgeable about the menu and offered helpful suggestions.

We were only here for dinner. This is a converted home that is now an in and restaurant. My husband has a delicious black cod and I had the bouillabaisse. His fish was delicious but my dish could have been served hotter with more seasonings. It was too bland for me. But it was loaded with seafood!

We had an amazing lunch here not long ago. Loved the fish tacos and the pot pie. Everything on the menu looked so good it was hard to choose. Can’t want to go back. Amazing quality food, excellent service and setting 💗

We came here for Thanksgiving dinner during our Mendocino trip this year. They had a three course meal with a special tasting menu, several options for each course. We got a Local Dungeness Crab Strudel topped with marmalade and a Wild Mushroom- Hazelnut Pate paired with crostini + brie for appetizers. Both were very unique and delicious. We ordered Lamb Chops, Seared Locally caught Fish and Mary’s Organic Turkey for main course. Everything was tasty, flavorful and in a generous quantity. Finally we got Coconut Lime Cake, Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie and Rocky Road Ice Cream Sundae for dessert. All the desserts were in large portions and so we could share and taste everything. The Coconut Lime Cake was unique, as was the Bourbon Pecan Pie with toffee sauce. The sundae was a delicious bomb of chocolate goodness, chocolate brownies and a huge toasted marshmallow on the top. Yummy !

The restaurant is cozy, had a lot of heaters and well warmed, and so it was comfortable even though we sat outdoors in the cold weather. The staff were friendly, polite and very helpful. The fall decorations with pumpkins made the ambience and the experience extra special! Very recommended (though the Thanksgiving menu is not likely to be there every day).
