Housekeeper opened my door after I said 'no thank you' quite loud through the door twice. She proceeded to have a conversation with me, while I'm in my underwear and laying in bed with my laptop. She wanted to know A) If I'm staying or leaving the hotel today (that's an easy lookup in their system) and B) what time I'm vacating. I finally said, "This is not appropriate, I'm in my underwear." She said ok and left.

At what point did people in the service industry forget the service part and act on their own selfish drives? I generally like standing up for workers rights, but have they taken this to a selfish extreme?

This hotel was not worth the price. It was VERY run down & outdated. The wall in the bathroom was patched & a terrible mess. There were patch jobs throughout the room, in different colors of paint. The dresser was all scared up. This is NOT a hotel that Travelodge or Wyndham would want their name associated with. The parking places are too tight. You can barely open the car doors. We decided to take our chances & parked on the street. 5 👎🏻DOWN!!!

I watched people every morning go to the office for a continental breakfast, did not open until 8AM sometimes 7:30AM. It was not presented nicely at all. A bunch of bagels under a plastic lid, a container of two kinds of cereal, 2 juices, ran out early. Coffee was okay, bagged danish. Only 1 roll of toilet tissue to a room daily, asked for a back up, their was none on the roll when I came back to the room later that day, had to go to the office and ask for a roll!!! The sheets were clean, the bathroom was clean, For a sleep over place when gone all day it is fine.

I had a reservation for Sept 14 and 15. After checked in, we got into room 134. The room was very warm so we turned on the air conditioner. However, the air came from the air conditioner smelled like pee. The smell was very strong and we can barely stay in room 134. We waited for like 10 minutes and it did not get better at all.

We went to the reception to tell this situation. The guy said that many people have complained about this. However, it was not pee. The smell may be caused by something outside the room. Also, there was no vacancy that night so he cannot give us another room.

As the condition of the room was not acceptable. We ask if we can check out immediately and get refund for the night. The guy said the manager was not here and he was not authorized to make decisions. He asked us to call the manager on Monday. As we were not able to reach a mutual agreement, we checked out about 30 minutes right after we checked in. We didn't stay at the hotel at all because of the horrible smell.

The room condition is unacceptable by anyone and it's not our responsibility. The situation should be taken care by the hotel immediately. If not, it is fair that the hotel gives back our money. I tried to contact the hotel manager for the refund. However, nobody replies. In the end, I still was charged for USD200 for a smelly room. It is very unreasonable.

I have to say, the room was clean and the TV and shower were good. However everything else about my experience here was not great. I reserved one room for 4 nights, which they seemed to find in the system but then told me that they didn't have a room available. Then they found a room for the same rate, but only charged me for the night. When I went back the second day to sort it out with the desk, I was scolded for reserving 3 rooms (I didn't) then scolded for only paying for one night. The key stopped working each day there, and I was scolded for going into stores with automatic doors. (I hadn't)
There are better places at comparable price one block away. Go there instead.

*-*-*+*-UPDATE: *-*-*-*-*-
One star update!! Please Read!!!⭐
After an 8 hour drive I arrived at 11:30 PM to check-in but I was told that all of the rooms were booked despite pre-paying for a room with my card earlier that day. I was then told that they would not refund my money because they didn't believe I was a guest or something crazy like that! Eventually the front desk clerk verified I had paid for the room but still denied me a room and denied refunding me because, "I do not know how to use the credit card machine or the computer." THOSE WERE HIS EXACT WORDS!!! Then the clerk told me to stop ringing the bell to the desk (it's outside @ a window because they refuse to let guests in the lobby) because he was going to bed! Long story short, no room, I'm out $130, & had to sleep in the car until morning!!! NEVER STAY HERE uness you are prepared for things to possibly go very very very wrong! Good luck!

Original:
Great location for travel right by the freeway. But that's about it besides the rooms being clean and big soft beds with clean linens. Otherwise the doors to each room don't close properly so cold air blows in all day/night. The freeway is loud & the walls are paper thin so unfortunately you can hear everything next door & out front. 3 stars. This spot is ok if you just need to stay a night or 2 in town for work.

The room was perfect, everything else was the problem. It was a pretty bad experience. First we watched an RV try to maneuver through the tiny parking lot and hit several cars, luckily not ours, and hotel staff wasn't around to witness. Then in the morning there was 3 homeless people rifling through the breakfast food, i tried to eat cereal but the milk was completely spoiled. The lady was rude to people on the phone while telling us to hold on when we asked for fresh milk. The juices were disgusting and watered down so they just tasted like water basically. It was pretty bad.

Bed was comfortable and rooms were clean. Our door did not have the additional lock on the upper part of the door. It looked as though the door had been busted into. Lock on bathroom was broken. Prices were fair, and it worked for overnight.
