If you want to stay in a dirty, filthy dump, then this is your place. I was sick after my stay due to the black mold in my room. The shower in my room flooded because the lazy maid never cleaned the shower drain out so there was a massive amount of hair that maintenance had to clean out. The maid has time to gossip about the other maid, and management, but she doesn’t have time to do her job. The phone was not working in my room, and they never fixed it. No coffee maker, or ironing board as advertised. Filthy linens that smell like old body odor. Towels that have stains and are musty smelling. Huge cockroach’s all around the property. I witnessed a drug overdose in the parking lot. The paramedics saved the persons life by giving them narcon. I also witnessed a prostitute doing her business, and there was a porno movie being filmed in one of the rooms. The “manager” is too busy in the office watching Judge Judy, and taking personal phone calls, then to actually to her job. This place is supported by the County of San Diego and it is operated as a homeless shelter. There are drugs everywhere, fighting and yelling at all hours, and leaving drug paraphernalia. This is a very dangerous, and unsanitary nightmare that I can’t seem to shake.

It was ok typical very high priced for location with the homeless across street at Jack in the box and golden corral they sit sleep and use right there set up there homeless tents in plain view at price quoted by MGMT of 550 plus tax and deposit weekly runs you close to 2500 month surely u can get very nice apt for that

Management and staff are friendly kind , for being in the heart of El cajon place is clean , affordable, felt like home . Beds are comfortable pet friendly they make you feel warm and special. The night staff is excellent doesn't matter what time they always answer. Glad to be here

The place looks to fit into the neighborhood it's in which worried me. However once I got into the room I found it to be well kept and very spacious. Personally I would appreciate more light. It felt very dark the entire time even with every light on. But my husband thought it was fine. The area is sketchy lots of homeless but nothing to uncomfortable or risky so I would definitely stay again without worry.
Unfortunately they're daily prices are a little to high to balance against other choice motels.

I want to personally thank Tanya and the housekeeping. The staff here are so polite and understanding. I stayed for 15 days and I enjoyed the privacy and how clean it was. I haven't seen not one bug while being here. The bed was comfy. The staff is always say good morning, and asking how are you.

Wow.

By principle I don't normally like to leave bad reviews but this I could not keep to myself. My wife and I have traveled all over the world and in the effort to conserve money, stayed in some questionable/seedy places in poor countries but this place topped almost all of them.

The service at check-in was awesome as was the person who assisted us with securing our room keys. Room was fine for the price, my wife found a hair in our bed but otherwise what you would expect for what you're paying.

The location. It might have been that a truck hauling a load of meth crashed next to a mental institution nearby that night, but we have never seen so many questionable homeless and mentally ill people wandering around the streets acting in such a peculiar and erratic manner. I've never moved furniture to block a door before in a hotel room but I was very tempted this night.

The hotel is near an industrial part of the city and our suspicion is that there's a large homeless encampment out of site nearby that has a high addiction rate but it's anyone's guess. If you're traveling with children you might want to consider booking in another part of town.

U shaped building with parking in the middle lead to a very loud night. Guest yelling, dogs barking, lawn mower engine running for a hour, car alarms going off. Street car racing, cop sirens speeding by, a gun shot, with helicopters circling over head. Homeless pushing carts all around the area, homeless sleeping in the trash area. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable for the 3 hours I was able to sleep. Tv worked and I felt safe locked tight in my room. Needless to say, I was eager to leave when the leaf blower woke me at 7:00.
