We had 26 people so we reserved the ATV Resort and 2 Duplex units. The duplex units were great. They both had fully stocked kitchens with microwaves and refrigerators. I would recommend these places. |The resort house had 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms so we planned to have 16 people staying there. We arrived at 10pm and learned the air conditioning did not work. One unit had a nest of bees or wasps so when we turned the unit on we got swarmed. We called the number we had and a guy came the next morning. The draw fan in the kitchen outdoor wall also had a nest of wasps so we had to kill wasps as we prepared food. It was our 3rd day before the air was fixed. We did not have a microwave or toaster. We did have a refrigerator. Dot, the lady who came to wash our towels, was very nice. I would rate the resort house a 1 out of 5 and would not recommend this place.

This was a different experience, for us. We arrived around 9 pm, no reservation. Had to check in at the STAT EMS dispatch building. The young lady who did the check in was AMAZING, very sweet, helpful, and friendly. The owners had not trained her on the check in process, which took a bit of time. She was great through it all!
The room itself was stale, stank of mold/mildew. Live and dead, bugs and ants, along with cobwebs. The beds had dark hair on them, not covered in it, but plenty enough to notice. Pillows were old and flat. Bedspreads were old and dirty. Toilet didn't flush properly. TV did not work. Just a very bad room.

We should have left, went somewhere else. As it was late, we had driven all day, we toughed it out. The moldy/mildew stench was very difficult to deal with, even after spraying the air freshener I brought. Very little sleep was had.

It was $90 for the night, super cheap. You get what you pay for.

We liked the restaurant. We ate several meals there and they were all good. They were serving shaved ice snow cones that were great! Our rooms were very clean and comfortable, two good TVs and ample parking for our cars. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. We plan to go there again soon.

we stayed in the suite above the restaurant, room 20, the place was awful, big stains in carpet, toilet not cleaned, stink bugs in bedrooms, could hear truck going down the street, not to mention the train. While my truck was in their parking lot, it had pop throw down the side of my truck. , no maid service, had to ask for towels. NO COFFEE POTS, good thing was the roof didn't leak, but it never rained either. Positively wouldn't recommend anyone to stay at this place.

Suite was located above a restaurant and there were NO smoke alarms. You had to hold your nose walking up to the suite. Trash at the bottom of the stairs blocking the path. Cigarettes butts all over the place. The kitchen had very few pots and pans and they were dirty beyond use. The bedroom was just feet from the main rd and the traffic noise was horrible. Not worth the $$.
