What a great stay! Got in about 6p.m. on Thanksgiving evening and had the friendliest staff! Cieara was awesome! Helped us with everything and made sure we had what we needed! Room was clean and comfortable! Definitely stay again! Strongly recommend staying here if you are in the area!

Enjoying our holiday trip back home we stayed here this past Thanksgiving, nice rooms, dog friendly, good breakfast. The lady that checked us in ( Cieara ) extremely polite and knowledgeable. Overall great experience. We go back 4-6 times a year to visit family and friends and this may be our go to stay now.

A modern and nicely appointed hotel that doesn’t provide housekeeping. Despite making 2 different requests to the front desk during our 4 day stay, our room was not cleaned once. ||The walls are not particularly thick so you can hear your neighbours if they’re noisy. The bed is very hard and the pillows thin and lumpy. ||We liked the location and room decor. It’s located next to The Hub, a social enterprise coffee shop that supports local charities. It’s near a pretty walking trail along the river and the downtown. There are bbqs and a sitting area out front. ||Staff were always friendly to us. We just don’t understand why there was zero housekeeping for a 4 day stay when we specifically asked twice and were told each time it would be done that day.

The staff was terrific, the room was very spacious clean and updated. The breakfast they offered was the beyond our expectations and offered a lot of healthy options. We'll definitely be back.

Things I loved about the hotel:
The room and space of the hotel room.
Location was fabulous.

Things that need to be addressed:
I stayed five nights and only had my hotel room cleaned once, and it was the day before we left. No one took responsibility for this. Everyone was blaming someone else.
We asked and the manager said she would get it cleaned and when we were gone, it was not taken care off. When I went back down stairs to ask, again it was someone else's fault. When asked if I could have towels, the front desk said ‘yes’. I asked if they would be brought up or if I needed to take them myself and the front desk walked me to the room to get the towels. There were two other people in there and they were complaining and blaming each other and even dropped the F word a couple of times. The front desk person came back and handed me the desk and walked away.

Towels: I had to ask for towels twice. Because the room was never cleaned, I had to get my own towels.

Trash: I had to throw out my own trash twice. The front desk lady even opened the door for me throw it away myself instead of having housekeeping come get it. When a fuse was blown, a housekeeper came up to help and I asked about the full recycle container. She said she would come back for it and the recycle bin sat outside the door for 2 days.

I guess if you are only staying one night it isn’t bad. The location really is awesome! The service was horrible. If you want to call it service.

I am handicapped called a few days before spoke with Claudine who was very helpful made sure I had a room close to the elevators which it was thanks to her! Room immaculate, sleek, looked brand new cute kitchen you could stay a while make a meal if needed. Bathroom mirror beautiful, shower large clean only issue I can share is if you have hip or back issues such as myself couch is hard and toilets are extremely low. I should have had a handicapped room I wonder if that would be better but definitely a great place to stay it was quiet and close to shopping and great restaurants. I would describe this as if IKEA had a hotel!

Wow I am spoiled now and will always look for a TownePlace Suite when traveling. My stay being a few days long I can say that I was thoroughly impressed by everything about this hotel. Worth the money and really a bargain for the level of service and accommodations you will experience.
I was on the first floor and my room was so quiet and comfortable I can say as soon as the door closes the quiet starts!
Comfortable bed, pillows, comforter, etc.. slept great! I'm thankful to have found such a welcoming stay.
